These are really lovely earrings. The shop owner included a great silver cleaning cloth which I used to polish up the earrings.

Exactly what I was looking for, something that I could wear everyday! I love these earrings and they are so comfortable and feel like I am wearing nothing on my ears. Thank you Q for another beautiful piece of jewelry!

About

Balance

Growing up in a rust belt city means that you most likely played on abandoned railroad tracks and snuck into abandoned warehouses. You probably found all sorts of interesting metal "debris" by the track- things that might be hanging on your wall or on a cord around your neck.

Here in Cleveland though, it also meant being surrounded by nature. Once known as the forest city, we have an amazing network of parks that surrounds us. So spending time in old industrial areas was balanced with running barefoot through the woods and finding equally interesting stones, bones, leaves and such.

I think the body of my work has always found itself somewhere between these two worlds. Some pieces feel decidedly more industrial while others are more natural in their form. For me, like most of us in life...I am just trying to strike a balance.

It is the coolest thing EVER- to create something that someone out there discovers, identifies with and then ultimately owns. It is one way that I can connect to people all over the world. Like I said- that's cool
