I would give this a 10 if I could. The owner was responsive, easy to work with and the cutting board with a special engraved message that I received for my daughter's wedding is a real work of art. Beautiful and smooth as glass. I've never seen better quality craftsmanship. I will be ordering more from this store. I highly recommend!

It all starts with personally selected raw lumber.
Then it's planed and ripped down to many strips.
Glue it all together.....
Cut more strips, glue it up again, then sand it smooth.
Apply some food safe finish, wait for it to completely dry, and this beautiful end grain cutting board is ready!

Hello there! Thank you for visiting QualityWoodCuts! My name is Matt and this is the story of how my shop came to be.

As a young man growing up in the South Bay of Los Angeles, spending a lot of time at home was not the type of lifestyle I was used to. I'm the type of person that needs to be doing something....anything. So after my son was born I naturally ended up spending a lot of time at home as I still do today. Sure I can always find some boring chore to do around the house but I can only do so many of those before my sanity starts to get tested.

Picking up woodworking just made sense to me. It's a very fun hobby that has taught me many useful skills and it keeps me busy. Now it has lead me to open QualityWoodCuts. A shop that enables me to further my skill as a woodworker and share my journey with you on a very personal level.

Each item I have listed is designed and handcrafted by myself. If you appreciate my work enough to compel you to make a purchase, I promise you that your appreciation will be reciprocated on my end.
