Queen Bee Knits, Creating a Buzz Around Hand Knitting!

Etsy seemed to be the perfect outlet for an yarn addict who lived in Florida!

My children are willing to wear limited amounts of knitwear … so what's a mom to do?

I love to knit and spend most of my days knitting for an hour or two (or eight). Since I work as a Clinic Assistant (think School Nurse without the nursing degree) at a public school, my knitting time has dropped but I still love to knit and knit daily. I'm even teaching my co-workers to knit!

I'm knitting, designing and living a fun-filled, happy life and I am truly grateful for my health and the blessing of my three children.

I have designed a line of knitted sweaters for my four-legged children called "Prima Dogma" and I plan to sell the patterns once my perfectionist self has decided that they're good enough to hand off to test knitters and pattern editors. It may be awhile. In the meantime, I still love to knit for my fur babies.

I started Queen Bee Knits in 2010 with the plan to create a buzz around hand knitting! I've been knitting since my children were small (30 years!) and have become a CYC Certified Knitting Teacher. I knit, I design and I teach.

I aim to create original, high quality hand knit garments for you ... and for your fur family (coming up soon!) I'm happy to knit custom garments in different colors or different sizes. Since all creative endeavors take time and talent, please be patient and understand that the more flexible you are, the more time I can give your garment. If you'd like a particular garment knit just for you, please contact me and we'll work something out. I promise!

Knitting takes time. Custom orders are knit as quickly as possible but please be patient.

I make all of my items in my non-smoking, shih tzu-friendly atelier. All items have never been worn (with the exception of by my wonderful model, my daughter.)
If you live out of the United States, please contact me for shipping information and cost. All shipping will be through the USPS, normal shipping methods. If you want it faster, let me know and I'll let you know what it will cost.
