I've always had a love for time worn shabby and romantic vintage treasures...

I think I've always been drawn to older things because they have history, they have a story, and a nostalgic charm that seem to just take me back in time. I feel that vintage finds make a home special, they give it character and a charm all it's own.

With being a collector of vintage treasures for years now, I had an overflow of pretty things and limited space, so back in 2008, I decided to share some of my things with those that have a love of the same things as me here at Etsy. So my Etsy shop was born. It's been a wonderful hobby for me and I've enjoyed every minute of this journey, I've met some of the most wonderful people too. Are you wondering where my shop name came from? Well, I always have loved going to yard sales, and was often called "Yardsale Queen" by friends and family, (because there was time when I could never seem to pass one by without stopping, and I would find the most unbelievable bargains!). Yardsale Queen was shortened to Queenie (we all knew what it meant), and that's how my shop name came about. So.... Queenie, royalty? No, definitely not. For me, my shop name is a reminder to me of my humble beginnings, a time when almost everything I owned came from a yard sale, and that was way back before going to yard sales became so popular and hip!

In my shop there is no telling what you might find here, because I'm drawn to many different styles of home decor... but I especially love anything from the Vintage Shabby Cottage, Coastal Cottage, French Country, Romantic Victorian Chic, and Rustic Country Farmhouse styles.... it all works for me, and I'll be the first to admit that I'm one to throw the decorating rules straight out the window, because I believe that if you like something you can always make it work in your home somewhere. The items that I offer in my shop are from my own personal collection of picks, that I've enjoyed at one time or another in my own home over the years of collecting and decorating. I am delighted to share them with you, and pass them on for you to enjoy in your home.

Shipping Prices are based on your zip code and weight of package

Shipping/Handling Fees:
Shipping has become so expensive, and I wish I could do something about it, but unfortunately I can't. Shipping prices are visible with each individual listing. I charge actual shipping cost, plus only a very low $1 handling fee, (this is included already in your shipping quote in the listing), the shipping quote in the listing is from my zip code here in Florida to your zip code based on the weight of the package and size of the package, Etsy automatically quotes you this price in the listing when you put in your zip code.

Purchasing Multiple Items:
Multiple item purchases receive a shipping discount, this discount is shown when items are put into your cart and they are based on the weight of combined items. Etsy automatically applies the discount to your order on multiple orders. Some items because of the fragility, heavy weight, or size of the item must to be shipped separate from other items. Feel free to contact me with any questions about shipping prices before purchasing multiple items from my shop, I may be able to give you a better price on shipping multiple items than what you are quoted in the listing.

How Often I Ship:
I ship several times a week, your package will ship out within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). I usually ship orders the next business day, but if you purchase on the weekend it will not ship out until Tuesday. If you have a shipping deadline, please contact me to ask questions before placing an order, and I will see if I can accommodate your needs. Sorry, but I do not use or offer overnight shipping services.


The Shipping Services I Use:
I do most all of my shipping through the U.S. Postal Service.
If your package is light enough it will ship First Class Mail
Most items ship Priority Mail
Very Heavy Items Could Possibly Ship USPS Parcel Post or UPS Ground Services
Sorry, I do not use overnight services.

Your Package Is Insured:
Insurance is included in the price of the shipping. In the event that a package arrives damaged or broken, leave everything as it is in the box, packing materials included and contact me immediately. You may need to surrender the package to your local post office so that I can file a claim or you may need to email me photos. A refund will be issued to you after the post office resolves the claim.

Tracking Numbers For Packages:
A Tracking Number is included in shipping costs. The tracking number gives us both peace of mind in knowing where the package is, and when it's expected to reach it's destination. You will receive an email from Etsy when your package ships, you will receive the tracking number information as well. You can sign into your Etsy account and click "Purchases" to find your shipping and tracking information as well.

Unclaimed Packages:
If a package is unclaimed, meaning the post office attempts to deliver a package and is unable to, but notice is left in the mailbox by the mail carrier and the package is not picked up within 10 days and no contact is made to the post office to make arrangements by the addressee to have the package re-delivered within 10 days, the post office labels the package unclaimed and returns it back to me. In the unlikely event that this should happen, you will receive a refund only for the price of the item, not the shipping that you paid. Please use the tracking number that I provide you with for tracking your package, so that you will know where your package is at and when the expected delivery day will be.

I use re-cycled packing materials when I can, but most boxes and bubble wrap are new. To save resources, I do not include a packing slip/printed receipt with your order, you can print out a receipt for your purchases at Etsy anytime you would like to.
Refunds and Exchanges
Returns:
If for some reason you are not satisfied with your item, return it to me within 7 business days. Item must be returned in the condition that it was when you purchased it. I only refund the selling price of the item, not the shipping costs to you or from you. Only the cost of the item. If you are returning an item, please contact me as soon as possible so that I will know you are sending the item back. You will need to insure the package, and provide me with a tracking number. Your refund will be issued promptly after the package is safely received.

What Is Vintage?
According to Etsy's listing policies vintage is any item that is 20 years or older. I try to give the year on items when I can. Most of my items are well over 20 years old, but please know that items that are only 20 years old can be called vintage according to Etsy's policies, something from the early 1990's can be termed vintage. Vintage items have been previously used, and loved and any imperfections, only add to their charm and character. Details about each item are fully described and included in each listing description. Any noticeable flaws are honestly and fully described. If you should ever have any questions or concerns please contact me thru Etsy Mail Conversations, or you can simply click on the blue Contact link button that is in the sidebar of my shop. I check my Etsy mail several times a day, and I will get back with you promptly.

Special Note About The Images In My Shop:
Please keep in mind that due to differences in computer monitors and other digital devices, the colors may vary to a degree and be slightly different in color from what you see on your screen.

Etsy Star Ratings System and Reviews:
Your Reviews are greatly appreciated, so if you decide to leave one, thank you in advance, from the bottom of my heart. I read each review and it always makes my day to know that someone is happy with their order and with their experience in my shop.

In case you are unfamiliar with Etsy Reviews System, they can be based on a number of factors, for example:

* How did you like your item?
* Was your item what you expected it to be, based on the pictures in the listing?
* Was the item as described in the listing?
* How well was the sellers communication after purchase?
* How quickly was your package shipped out?
* Did you know when your order shipped?
* Were you provided tracking information for package?
* Was your item securely packaged and safely delivered?
These are just a few questions that you can ask yourself when writing a shop review.

1 Star is the poorest rating that can be given
