Although I love this fabric line and fabric was delivered in the state in which was stated in the description. I missed the part where it was "pre-washed". I know that quilters will pre-wash their own fabric or not (I do not), but to sell fabric prewashed................ I can't imagine why you would make that decision for someone else.

I really like these two mug rugs. They look really nice and are made well. Thank you!
Quilting Feeds My Soul
I have had a job since I was 16 years old. From typical teen years jobs to professional jobs, I have had to work to contibute to the household income. I started to learn to sew when I was 10 years old. My Mom asked me to take 4H sewing lessons where I started to sew Barbie clothes and then learned to make my own clothes. In my teen years, I was making bell bottoms and clothes that could have auditioned for the Brady Bunch show. When I started my first professional job, I made most of my dresses and skirts for work. I had my first child in my 30's, and made my own maternity clothes. I began to make clothes for my daughter until she did not like homemade clothes any more. In my 40's, I took a quilting class for my mental health. I was going through a very difficult, and stressful expereince at work and needed an outlet to cheer me up and give me something to do that I was passionate about. I changed professions in my 40's, worked a few less hours a week and had more free time for quilting. I was taking quilting classes and building my fabric stash.. In 2011, with encouragment from my wonderful, supportive husband, I opened my shop at Etsy. Making seasonal items is my favorite thiing to do because I love holiday fabrics. I am also a sucker for novelty prints. I am currently making wall hangings and table runners for the most part. I make small items when I am crunched for time. People have always asked me how I held down a job, took care of my household and raised children while finding time to sew and quilt. I always respond by saying that quilting feeds my soul. I need the inspiration, creativity and process of quilting so that I can do the other things. It helps to have a great husband who likes what I do and loves to shop for fabric with me. He is wonderful.
