3 out of 5 starsMy wife bought this for me as a birthday gift so I'm writing the review as I'm the one using it. This little transmitter does work on the selected band. The craftsmanship is lacking. The epoxy used to secure the 9V battery was not finished. The initial delivery was DOA and I had to return it. The unit was repaired, but it took a long while to get back. Probably close to the time it took to get it the first time. And the case showed tool gouges the second time around. All in all its a neat little thing and I will use it mobile. My wife bought it for me because she thought it was "cute" in the pictures and would be a novelty item to pull out when with fellow hams. But, how mine looks (can't speak for how others came out) it's not something I'll be showing off. 73
