About

What Inspired Your Shop Name?
I chose the name of my shop many years ago inspired by a verse from the Bible I have loved since I was a little girl:

Psalm 147: 3-5a.
"Children are a heritage from the Lord,
offspring a reward from him.
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth.
Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them."

I have always love that verse as it combines 2 things I love: my children and archery. Children are a blessing to us all and I sell children's clothing and accessories so it seemed a natural fit.

By the way, I'm often asked if I'm a member of the Quiverfull Movement, but I'm not. The similarity in names is purely coincidental.

What's Your Story?
I am a military wife and homeschooling mama to five wonderful kids. Four rambunctious boys, then one little princess.

My mom tried to teach me to sew when I was a little girl, but I was such a tomboy, it just wasn't my thing. As I grew up, I saw the beautiful things she had made and my younger sister made and I was intrigued.

When my oldest was a couple of years old, I finally decided to ask my husband for a sewing machine. He was so confused! He said, "But you don't know how to sew?" I responded with, "I'll learn!" It took some trial and error and a lot of YouTube, but I was finally able to make pajamas for my sons and tried dresses and other projects for family and friends as well as clothes for myself.

Fast forward several years and I found out I was pregnant with a little girl. I started sewing like crazy! I sewed dress after dress for my little princess and absolutely loved doing it. My friends saw all of the beautiful dresses and urged me to open a shop to share my creations with the world, so I did! I love what I do and I love sharing my work with you all. I started with dresses and I'm slowly expanding to other items as I am able.

What Inspires Your Style?
I absolutely love the clothing styles from the late 40s-early 60s as you can probably tell looking at some of my dresses. They had such style back then! You just don't see that anymore. The style reminds me of my great grandmother who was so influential in my life when I was a little girl. She was one classy lady and her style was impeccable.

I strive to re-create some of that gorgeous style and the quality in days gone by with my pieces. Each one is handmade with love and painstakingly gone over to make sure it is just right before it leaves my hands. I am proud of my work and I hope you love it as much as I do.

Everything you see at Quiverfull Designs meets CPSC Safety Requirements for children's clothing and accessories. THANK YOU!
