Love this bag. Now I am at a quandary which bag to use, I have the satchel and really like it and I love the pattern on this bag, the one handle is going to take a little getting used to, but I think it will be better, because I always fought one handle trying to open the purse.

Seller was extremely friendly and helpful when sorting out shipping. I love the colours and the design, and the bag is very well made! This is the second commuter bag that I've bought from this store, and I absolutely loved the first. I'm looking forward to using this one!

About

I love that I get to work with my hands and make a tangible thing that brings happiness to others.

The Rachel Elise brand began as a personal project while I was getting my BFA in Fiber Art. As graduation neared, I realized this could be a full time career, and I officially jumped in to full-time business-time in January of 2011.

Since then, my business has evolved in many ways, but I still design and stitch every bag from start to finish. In 2015, I added screenprinting to the Rachel Elise tool belt and I now design and print most of my fabrics. I love that I get to work with my hands and make a tangible thing that brings happiness to others.

In 2013, I decided that I wanted to share the joy of owning one's own business, so I partnered with my friend Shelley to open the DIME Store. Our shop houses handmade items from over 70 local makers and has helped Rachel Elise and many other small art businesses flourish. If you're ever in Denton, Texas, make sure you stop by to see what we're all about!

In January of 2016, my husband Bo quit his job and joined the Rachel Elise team to manage shipping, prepare materials, and help make each item from Rachel Elise a little something more. He takes great pride in seeing the product of his efforts and is a tremendous asset to the brand's overall goals and dreams. When he's not busy with a rotary cutter or postage scale, he can be found playing with cats and guitars.

All items are sewn when ordered. Please allow up to ten calender days for the production of your bag, and an additional 2-3 business days for US shipping. (Orders shipping to locations outside the US generally take 2-3 weeks to arrive). You will receive an email when your order has shipped to let you know that it's en route!

US orders are shipped with tracking via USPS priority mail or USPS first class shipping. You can find tracking information in the "order has shipped" email you receive from Etsy once the package is on the way.

If a package takes longer than expected to arrive, I ask that we honor a 3 week waiting period (8 weeks for non-U.S. shipping) for the package to be kicked back to me, the seller, or to arrive to you, the buyer. Sometimes packages get held up due to winter weather, international customs, or just because. Once the waiting period has passed, will we discuss options on refunds, exchanges, or re-shipping. Your patience is greatly appreciated!

Lost packages, while extremely rare, do happen on occasion and will be handled on a case by case basis. Items that have tracking info indicating that the item was delivered successfully will not be replaced.
