RAG Performance comenzó en 1993 con un sueño: crear un taller especializado en la fabricación de máquinas de alto rendimiento, capaces de construir vehículos que fueran respetados, competitivos y temidos por quienes se enfrentaran a ellos.
Los comienzos fueron humildes.
No había un taller sofisticado, un gran presupuesto ni respaldo corporativo.
Todo comenzó en un garaje, impulsado por la fascinación por el rendimiento, la ingeniería mecánica y una simple pregunta:
¿Cómo podemos hacerlo más rápido?
Lo que comenzó bajo aquel cobertizo siguió creciendo, hasta trasladarse finalmente a un hangar de aviones, donde se hicieron posibles proyectos más grandes, maquinaria más sofisticada e ideas cada vez más ambiciosas.
Luego, en 1999, esa búsqueda del rendimiento alcanzó otro nivel.
RAG Performance viajó al otro lado del mundo para obtener formación especializada y experiencia práctica en competición, aprendiendo de personas que trabajan en la élite del automovilismo internacional.
Desde aquellos primeros años, nuestra experiencia ha abarcado muy diversos tipos de maquinaria de alto rendimiento.
Hemos estado involucrados en:
Dragsters Top Fuel de la NHRA
Superdeportivos V8
Lanchas motoras de alta mar
Carreras en pista circular
Carreras de aceleración
Desarrollo de vehículos de alto rendimiento
Investigación y desarrollo de maquinaria avanzada.
Máquinas diferentes. Disciplinas diferentes.
Pero siempre el mismo objetivo:
Encuentra la ventaja.
Ya sea por la potencia, la fiabilidad, la configuración, la ingeniería, la fabricación, los datos o simplemente por encontrar una mejor manera de hacer las cosas, RAG Performance siempre se ha guiado por la búsqueda de la vanguardia necesaria para ganar.
Esa experiencia dio forma a lo que RAG Performance representa hoy en día.
No estamos creando una marca de automóviles porque los coches sean populares.
Lo hemos vivido.
Hemos pasado las noches en talleres.
Hemos intentado solucionar problemas que no tenían sentido.
Hemos roto cosas.
Los reconstruí.
Los cambié.
Los probé.
Y volví a intentarlo en busca de la siguiente mejora.
Porque cualquiera que realmente construya maquinaria de alto rendimiento sabe algo:
El proyecto nunca está realmente terminado.
Siempre hay otra idea.
Otra modificación.
Otra décima de segundo.
Otro aumento de potencia.
Otra oportunidad para mejorar algo.
Esa es la cultura que hay detrás de RAG Performance.
Hoy, tomamos esa historia y construimos el siguiente capítulo.

The RAG Performance Story

RAG Performance began in 1993 with a dream — to create a speed shop capable of building machines that would be respected, competitive and feared by those lining up against them.
The beginnings were humble.
There was no polished workshop, big budget or corporate backing.
It started in a carport, driven by a fascination with performance, mechanical engineering and one simple question:
How do we make it faster?
What started under that carport continued to grow, eventually moving into an aircraft hangar, where bigger projects, more serious machinery and increasingly ambitious ideas became possible.
Then, in 1999, that pursuit of performance went to another level.
RAG Performance travelled halfway around the world to gain specialist training and hands-on racing experience, learning from people operating at the sharp end of international motorsport.
Since those early years, our experience has crossed some very different forms of high-performance machinery.
We've been involved with:

Offshore Powerboats
Circle Track Racing
Drag Racing
Performance vehicle development
Research and development on advanced machinery
Different machines. Different disciplines.
But always the same objective:

Whether it came from horsepower, reliability, setup, engineering, fabrication, data or simply finding a better way of doing something, RAG Performance has always been driven by the pursuit of the leading edge required to win.
That experience shaped what RAG Performance stands for today.
We're not creating an automotive brand because cars happen to be popular.
We've lived it.
We've spent the late nights in workshops.
We've chased problems that didn't make sense.
We've broken things.
Rebuilt them.
Changed them.
Tested them.
And gone back again looking for the next improvement.
Because anyone who genuinely builds performance machinery knows something:
The project is never really finished.
There's always another idea.
Another modification.
Another tenth of a second.
Another horsepower gain.
Another opportunity to make something better.
That's the culture behind RAG Performance.
Today, we're taking that history and building the next chapter.
