Welcome to REdress Modern Vintage Eco Fashion!

So what's the story with these dresses?

Each REdress begins its journey as discarded clothing, hanging sadly on a thrift store rack, squished up against hundreds of others, tossed away to make room for something newly made from a manufacturer thousands of miles and oceans away. In comes REdress shop owner and thrift shopper extraordinaire Lauren Jacobson Spokane, who swoops in to carefully select those dresses with the most fabulous colors, patterns, and vintage designs to take home and transform. Trained in professional sewing techniques and with a sharp eye for knock-their-socks-off-fashion, Lauren snips, hems, gathers, ruffles, repairs, adds decorative pins and buttons, and VOILA! Our lonely discard is ready to be the next hot thing in your closet. Get ready to have fun getting dressed!

And how about all that funky jewelry?

REdress jewelry starts as that earring that lost its pair, the pile of broken and outdated necklaces that we never know what to do with and finally get rid of, the spring of a clothespin, bottle caps we've saved from college parties, or a vintage cookie tin that's fun for storage but even more fun cut into shapes and hung on your ears.

Additional policies and FAQs
A note on sizes:

I do my best to measure as precisely as possible, many dresses have some flexibility and I try to reflect that in the item description. Please measure yourself to get as accurate an idea as possible about whether an item will fit - here's how to measure yourself:

Bust - wrap measuring tape under your armpits around the largest part of your bust

Waist - find your natural waist, just below your rib cage, likely the smallest part of your torso, wrap the measuring tape around your body at that point

Hips - this refers to the largest part of your bottom (i.e. not where your hip bone is, but across your behind)

Length - usually the measurement posted refers to the length from collar bone or center of shoulder (depending on design of dress) unless otherwise specified
