The IRTrackStar can be cleaned using 70% Isopropyl Alcohol. Scratches can be buffed out using enamel thinner applied using a qtip, then washed clean using IPA.

The leds will become polished over time due to rubbing various surfaces such as the fabric of your gaming chair, clothing, etc. The design of the IRTrackStar requires that the light from the leds be diffused to present an even brightness to the camera at all angles. Once the leds start to become polished and more clear, a light sanding using 120 grit sandpaper is sufficient to rough up the surface. You'll notice when they are becoming polished as they will start to lose tracking at wide angles, and become jittery.

IRTrackStar v3 is 6.5" from front to back. The item weighs 3.5oz to 3.8oz. The weight will vary slightly depending on amount of glue used, guage of wire available at time of assembly, as well as resin brand availability which can vary in density. The vast majority of customers say they can feel the weight at first, then 5mins or so later can barely tell its there. Having said that, some people don't like the feeling of the weight on their headsets. Please remember this is a wireless head tracker, and therefore, does have some weight due to the battery. Consider this before purchase.

Order lead times are set at 3-5 weeks. While etsy's order confirmation states 4 weeks as that's the average, I'm unable to chanhe it to a range, so please keep this in mind before ordering.

The IRTrackStar must be charged with a 5v 1A (1000mAh) USB A wall adapter connected to a USB A to USB C cable. This is mandatory. An incorrect charger can damage the circuitry.
