RMSjewels' Shop Policies
We strive to make all customers happy with their transactions and delighted with their purchases. Our love for vintage jewelry runs deep as we strongly believe that purchasing a jewel is a gift for the soul. This is our business philosophy and our promise to you.
We accept Paypal and Direct Credit Card payment available through Etsy. If you need to cancel an order please convo us, and we will gladly accomodate your needs.
We can put items on hold (usually for 24 hours), just convo us with a request.
We offer First Class shipping with Delivery Confirmation for US orders. International orders are shipped First Class International with Insurance (via a third party company if available).
Please note that we reserve the right to upgrade the shipping method and cost after the purchase, based on the order value and destination country.
Please note that buyer is responsible for all customs fees, duties, and import charges that are levied at the time of delivery.
We package all items very well and ship within 24 business hours of payment receipt. Our personal promise to you is prompt communication throughout the entire transaction, from purchase to receipt of the item.
Refunds and Exchanges
We take great care in describing and photographing our items and therefore we consider that all sales are final. If we made a substantial error in the listing (such as not describing major damages or flaws etc.) we will accept returns if you contact us within 3 days of receipt so that we can arrange a return/refund. No returns are accepted for buyers remorse. We encourage that you ask questions prior to ordering, we reply all emails within 24 hours.
All refunds are issued less shipping costs, there are no exceptions.
The following conditions must be met:
1) The item must be mailed to us within 2 days of our agreement to issue a refund.
2) Please make sure you return the items to us packaged in the same way that they were sent to you. If your item was shipped with delivery confirmation and insurance, you must return it using the same shipping methods.
3) The item must be received in the exact condition as when it was shipped to you, with all labels, tags and identifying marks intact; no alterations (such as ring sizing, necklace length adjustment etc.) or damage/wear of any kind permitted.
In case your item is lost in the mail or arrives damaged in transit, please let us know right away. Make sure you photograph the damage and email us the photos; USPS and third party insurance companies require proof of damage in order to begin a claim process. Make sure you keep the original packaging materials as well as the damaged piece(s) for further investigation in the claim process. Do not return items damaged in shipping before contacting us, since this will void the shipping insurance.
Please note that all Insurance companies require a written damage report from the buyer and the seller in order to confirm details and verify the loss.
Additional Policies and FAQs
Please know our inventory consists of vintage items and antique items and they will show minor wear. Very good vintage condition means minor surface wear, minor dents, minor chips and loss plating. Excellent vintage condition means minor surface wear.
