At ROMI Apothecary, we craft small-batch, locally sourced skin care products by hand and of the land. Like the ancient cycles that bind sun to soil, and seed to bloom, we connect you with the potent healing power of plants and the wild wisdom that beckons from the Earth.

Our mission is to bring effective, high-vibrational, and nutrient-dense plant remedies from the bounty of our Great Lakes bioregion into your home sanctuary. When we craft loving products from medicinal herbs, we harness the life and nourishment of their cells, making them available for your skin to replenish, nourish, and thrive.

The herbs utilized in our products are hand-picked at peak potency and processed from whole plants in our homestead apothecary. We get to know each and every ingredient intimately in its living, dried, and infused forms. By using these precious botanicals with respect, we honor their treasures and vicariously honor ourselves by applying them to our skin.

Our high-quality creations are an atlas for you to tap into Nature's wellspring, the link between your modern life and the archaic tradition of plants as medicine. Through the enchantment of deeply resonating smells and sumptuous textures, entwined with inhaling a slow conscious breath, we call on these plant allies to realize our own inherent beauty. A truth is then revealed- we are as Wild and Rooted as the weeds at our feet.

My business and products are true extensions of myself as I am the formulator, hand-crafter, designer, and distributor of every jar and bottle. The concept of finding and appreciating Beauty in what has been there all along, is what I hope my products can help others achieve. I want my products to capture a love of Nature and Plant Spirit Connection without compromising on quality and effectiveness. I strive for purity of ingredients, luscious skin feel, and consistency. These aspects call for scientific-like rigor and have taken a lot of repetition and practice to achieve. Simultaneously, when I manufacture or sustainably wildcraft, I try to approach the work with love in my heart and utmost respect for the precious ingredients that I get the pleasure to play with.

I am an island girl, born on Oahu, with a lot of Aloha in my heart and a detail-oriented Virgo Sun and Moon in my constellation of origin. If you come to my house, you will see plants drying on racks, hundreds of jars filled with plant matter, tincture bottles in every room, herbal powders by the stove, and various bottles of oils in the bathroom. Thank you to my life partner, who tolerates a living space taken over by an herbalist. As a person that has always been thirsty for learning, I have found that the world of Herbalism has an eternal wealth of knowledge that can feed me intellectually and spiritually for a lifetime.
