This is a charming little beauty! It's design and glaze are even better in person than in the photo.

I like the slightly squared round shape of this plate. The glaze work is perfectly applied and the design is timelessly modern like an abstract watercolor. I would love to purchase place settings of this one!

These are charming little works of art. It takes a real master potter to make something that is so finished in every little detail and I love that the mug comes with a perfectly fitting little saucer!

Quietly elegant perfection...rich in design / lovely in shape / perfect in glaze/ functional for cooking or serving.....RStrom Pottery is just the best! It is such a pleasure to use these pieces in my kitchen and see them on my table.

I really appreciate the attention to detail that is given to every item in the RStrom Pottery line! The shape, the fine finish details, and the wonderful glazes set this line of pottery into the top 1% of skilled craftsmanship and artistic eye for any pottery that I have ever had the pleasure to own!

The glaze on this tea mug is absolutely beautiful, and I especially love the little flower-like imprints. This is everyday art by a master potter!

Welcome to R.Strom Pottery! I enjoy creating pottery that is both functional and beautiful. When I pick up one of my pots, I like it to feel balanced. The details of each pot are important to me, even the less visible parts. You will notice that the bottom of each pot is well finished and carefully smoothed.

All my glazes are lead-free and food safe, and unless otherwise noted, are also microwave and dishwasher safe.

Please be aware that as all my work is handmade, there will be slight variations in size, shape and color. That’s part of the unique charm of handmade craft.

If you have any questions about my work, please feel free to contact me. Check back often - I’ll be adding pieces regularly. I hope you find something that inspires you!

Shipping
Unless you notify me otherwise, I will ship to your Etsy invoice address. If you would like me to ship to a different address, please notify me in "message to seller".

Items usually ship within 2-3 business days after receipt of payment. I typically ship via USPS Priority Mail to all domestic addresses. Given our location, some states/areas have higher shipping costs (western US, northern New England, etc.) In those cases, I may use USPS Parcel Select to keep shipping costs down, which will add a few days to the total shipping time.

Upgraded shipping is available by request. Please contact me before purchase with your shipping address so that I can provide a quote for those additional costs.

International orders are sent via First Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail International (insured, if available), with estimated delivery within 6-10 business days. The buyer is responsible for any import taxes or tariffs on international purchases. Please ask for a quote.

I use packing peanuts made from corn starch which are much more environmentally friendly. They will dissolve quickly when in contact with liquids. If you plan to reuse them, make sure that they stay dry.

I take great care in packing my pottery so it makes it to you safely. I use new boxes and packing materials (when available, I will recycle and reuse clean packing materials in good condition).
Additional policies and FAQs
When using a ceramic pot in the oven, I recommend putting it in a cold oven rather than a preheated one, a good practice to keep a pot from cracking due to thermal shock. For the same reason, never put frozen food in a ceramic dish and then put it in the oven.
