I grew up with a Christian (Roman Catholic) background, and have always been drawn to interfaith perspectives. Also, I am learning how much of Jesus' teachings flowed directly from his own Jewish background and his revolutionary/countercultural perspective on how to live. I now belong to both a Progressive Christian congregation and Rabbi Brian's online congregation.

Evocative. Rabbi Brian invites the reader (me) to clarify my own understanding of what is my (evolving?) image of the divine in the universe, and thus how should I live. This is a good workbook for me to go through at least once every year, because development, growth, evolution, and maturation of my spiritual life is important to me.

This book is for young people who are curious about meditation. I have passed it along to our youth room at our UU fellowship. I will listen to their comments and pass them along for feedback.

Well. I read this book all night until the morning. A lovely thank you, which is hand written by the authors to me for my interest in learning. One time I met Anne Rice at a book signing. I was honored to meet such an intelligent person. I like to meet the people who help my world be filled with smiles, tears, absolutely divine bliss. One time I met another author she wrote Berndutte something. I felt wrong being there in that company. I do not remember what the book was about. The smallest grasps of memories I have, are the most beautiful pieces of my me. You are part of those. Even though I guess I never get to see you. I think there is a way. One day, tonight later someday, one person, you will come back. Imagine having the power to make my entire life worth something. Anne

I've bought two of these -- one for myself and one for a gift -- and they are absolutely lovely. Rabbi Brian isn't just a terrific rabbi, he also makes amazingly beautiful stained glass. I am so happy with my light because it adds function and beauty to my home.

Even if I wasn't taking this for a program, I would have loved engaging in this course. Rabbi Brian got me to think about my relationship to G-d in new and different ways. If you're on the fence about it, just do it, you will not regret it. It has given me 'bravery' to speak about G-d with others and I've recommended this to them as well. Great stuff!
