Siempre me ha gustado hacer cosas. Si bien no he sido el mejor en lo que llamarías arte tradicional, me apasiona hacer algo que haga feliz a alguien.
Todo el negocio comenzó haciendo cosas para amigos, que querían algo para sus amigos, y aquí estamos casi 10 años después.
Mi esposo está en la Guardia Costera, esta tienda se ha mudado bastante. Cuando empecé, tenía todas las pieles de cuero en mi habitación, el garaje lleno de cuerdas y suministros, y el comedor era mi taller. El cuero es parte del hogar: los perros roban pedacitos y los niños huyen con herramientas. Ahora que nos hemos establecido en los Outer Banks de Carolina del Norte, tengo un taller dedicado en todo el primer piso de nuestra casa. Me encanta montar con mis dos hijas (8 y 10) cada vez que tengo la oportunidad, disfrutando de las playas y montañas con nuestros cuatro caballos. Hemos tenido una gran aventura, incluyendo vivir en nuestro remolque de caballos durante un año, y hacer tantos recuerdos con grandes amigos en el camino. Estoy muy agradecida por todo el amor y el apoyo que mis clientes me han brindado a lo largo de los años. Nos has dado el poder de finalmente establecernos y criar a nuestros hijos. Gracias a todos y cada uno de ustedes, de verdad.
I have always loved to make things. While I haven't been the best in what you would call traditional art, I have a passion for making something that makes someone happy.
The entire business starting by making things for friends, who wanted some for their friends, and here we are almost 10 years later.
My husband being in the Coast Guard, this shop has moved quite a bit. When I started out, I had all the leather hides in my bedroom, the garage full of rope and supplies, and the dining room was my workshop. Leather is a part of the household: dogs steal bits and kids run off with tools. Now that we have settled in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, I have a dedicated workshop on the entire first floor of our home. I love to ride with my two daughters (8 & 10) anytime I have the chance, enjoying the beaches and mountains with our four horses. We have had quite the adventure, including living in our horse trailer for a year, and making so many memories with great friends along the way. I am so grateful for all the love and support my customers have given me over the years. You have given us the power to finally settle down and raise our kids. Thank you to each and every one of you, truly.
