Hello! My name is Rachelle Spencer and I am the owner of Rachelle-isms. Thanks for checking out my shop.

The name of my business has been around since I was a very young girl. I have always had an odd way of looking at things and describing them. My parents called my odd ways, “Rachelle-isms.” I choose this name for my business because I will never stop being creative and finding a different way of doing things and my business name can grow with my creativity.

My business started out in 2010 with making gifts for family … A flower to accessorize my sister’s wedding dress, coasters for a Christmas gift, onesies for my unborn son etc… I’m always looking at what other people do and making my own creative alternative.

2014 brought a lot of new changes to my business. I discovered that my creativity has a way to bring meaning and even healing/comfort to others. I announced a Nest Necklace giveaway in April to women who have lost children like myself and was blown away by the response. I had no idea that sharing my story would reach so many and give a voice to the pain of child-loss. That month started me down this path of growth and change and encouraged me to refocus and simplify my business.

Today I spend most of my time creating custom pieces for my customers. Many of them write to me telling me their stories. They are hard to hear, but between the lines I think so many people are just wanting someone to listen to and understand them. One of my favorite things is receiving the special requests for my designs with a twist added. I am never bored when I make these necklaces and I am always incredibly honored by the stories shared. My aim is always to encourage women to share their stories and heal.
