Rainy day so I'm busy painting wee metal flowers for earrings. Today's colour - white.

About

This current step in a long checkered career of creative pursuits.

All my life I have loved making stuff. I sewed clothes and household items when my children were young. Then I learnt ceramics and eventually did a teachers course and opened my own studio. I've knitted. I've crochet'd. I've embroidered. I've baked and beaded and paper crafted my little heart out. I also love photography and art. I have to do digital art, because I can't draw to save myself, but oh how I wish I could draw and paint. But I seem to have as much talent for that as I do for singing - which is not a pretty sound I can tell you!

In more recent years my various hobbies have settled down to the ones I love the most. Or, to be more honest, the ones I can still do with eyesight fading with age and fingers not as nimble as they once were.

I have a digital scrapbooking website where I made lots of yummy digital items for other people to use in their digital scrapbooking. The site has been neglected now for over a year. I became very disenchanted with struggling every day to make new freebies for strangers who, apart from one or two, downloaded my freebies every day without ever saying hello, let alone thank you! The strange thing about that website, (and it's facebook page), is that it's had more attention from others since I stopped working it than it ever had when I was giving away freebies daily! weird!

I love scrapbooking but I've never actually made a whole scrapbook myself. I do make those darling miniture albums. Nostalgia albums I call them, because they are great for keeping not just photos, but keepsakes of special occasions like movie or plane tickets etc in them. They're full of pockets and tags for poking stuff into, and who doesn't love that?

I also have a Zazzle store which I love working on because it allows me a lot of creative freedom.

I also spend time in Second Life where I am a content creator. I design and build buildings, design and make furniture of all kinds and create beautiful landscapes...all in 3D. I love it and it's a huge creative outlet for me. Part of building means you need lots of textures, and often I can't find just what I want or need, so I learnt how to make some of my own and now sell those also.

Then there's my jewellery making. Something I've done for years for myself and family. But now I'm trying to sell it as well and have ramped up the rate at which I make new things to several a week, sometimes, several a day. Simply because I love doing it.

The different things I was doing seemed to be spread all over the place so I built a website, (yeah, I create those too! lol), where I could bring everything under 'one roof' so to speak.

I became interested in setting up a shop here on Etsy while shopping here myself. I buy quite a bit of my jewellery making items from here, (oops, should that be a trade secret?), although I do source some elsewhere as well.

So, long story short - here I am. I really hope you'll like my things as much as I love making them.

You might also like my other ranges, not stocked on Etsy. You can see them here: http://radenbrea.com/shop/
If you sign up to my website you will receive notice of new additions, specials and sales first hand.

Returns and exchanges
Always contact me about a refund via an Etsy Convo to ensure I see your enquiry. If you aren't happy with a purchase, please also contact me within 3 days of receipt with your reasons. I will ask you to ship the item back to me and will refund your product purchase price once it arrives. You will be responsible for the postage to send the item back.
Payment
We accept Paypal where you can pay using all major credit cards or your own Paypal account if you have one. I expect payment at the time of the sale. I am not able to do layaway on orders, however, if the item that you had your eye on has sold, chances are, I can recreate something like it for you when you're ready to order. Just send me an Etsy convo for more information.

CUSTOM ORDERS: Custom orders must always be paid in advance. Once work has begun on a custom order, no refund will be possible if the buyer changes their mind for any reason. This is due to the amount of time and work it takes to negotiate and produce custom orders.

Any customs, tax or import duties etc, charged by the buyers country of residence is the sole responsibility of the buyer.

PLEASE READ MY SHIPPING POLICIES BEFORE PURCHASING!

ORDER PROCESSING TIMES
Once you've ordered, if you click your Purchases tab here on Etsy, it will show you the "no later than" ship date. Once I've finished your item, I mark it shipped here on Etsy and you'll get a notification. All though I show shipping at being 1 to 2 weeks, it will often be a lot faster than that. It is only because I live out in the country and cannot get to town more than once or twice a week, so shipping the day after an order comes in is not always possible.

IMPORTANT: Many countries assess duties and taxes on imported packages. As the importer of the item, you are responsible for paying this cost. Sometimes these fees can be quite high. If you are uncertain of the amount that you might be assessed, please check it out and cancel the order if you think this could be a problem. I SHIP QUICKLY, so you will need to check soon (when I ship the package, the cancellation option is no longer available).

With ALL International orders you are responsible for any customs fees/duties/taxes your country may charge you when your item arrives. We do our best to mark the package appropriately, preventing you from paying high duties and fees, but ultimately, this is up to your country's customs office.

PACKAGING:
We love presenting our items in the most beautiful way possible! All items ordered are packaged in a pretty organza pouch. We wrap all items safely in tissue paper or bubble wrap if they need extra protection, and always include a couple business cards. We want our customers to feel extra special when their Radenbrea Studio’s order arrives.

ITEMS LOST/DAMAGED IN TRANSIT:
Items are very rarely lost or damaged in transit. They sometimes arrive a little late (due to post office issues). However, if you do experience this, contact us via an Etsy convo here (not an e-mail). We will communicate with you about the problem you've experienced and work hard to make it right. Positive feedback and repeat business is very important to us.

Repairs
Care should always be taken when wearing special jewellery. I only use strong industrial glues, wire and fine pieces, most of which I have to import myself. Long earrings and handcrafted jewellery however is very susceptible to being snagged or pulled, so I do offer repairs. Please remember that as with all delicate handmade jewellery, storage, maintenance and care is required to keep them in good condition. However, if anything breaks or needs repair, I will do so as my stock permits. Price for repairs is based on time and supplies needed.
Additional policies and FAQs
I love custom orders and am happy to create pieces in Radenbrea’s style to suit your specific needs. Always contact me about a custom order via an Etsy Convo, as we get so much mail through our normal email that I might miss your order. Sometimes I am too far behind to take on a custom order, but can put you on a waiting list. If you require something for a specific event, such as a wedding, please order in plenty of time as most of the items I use to design my work I have to import and these can sometimes take up to two months to arrive before I can even start making your order.

By purchasing any of my items you are agreeing to all of my policies and terms.
