Yes, these are done with a thin hammered wire but I am happy to redo them with a heavier wire, no problem to make it just right for you :)

>>>> Handmade Jewelry <<< Using wire that I twist and hammer...and gemstone beads or specialty glass beads.
For the past 20 years I have been making jewelry. I remember that I started making jewelry necklaces way back but found the expense of buying quality gemstones for my hobby just too much to justify when my children were young.
I spent many years collecting rainbow colours in various materials from silks to velours, wool, gemstones, and glass etc. I also studied healing through colour, sound and vibration. Colour is energy, energy is vibration and vibration is frequency.
Later when I took time off from teaching, I gravitated back to jewelry making and could not stop myself from making more and more earrings! I had so many that I had to look at marketing and selling them. I found a few local venues which were very successful ways for me to sell my handmade jewelry.
I enjoyed exploring many mediums of working with colour, form and texture but after a number of years of experimenting with unique designs, I continued to be drawn back to the hammered wire work, perhaps because it is has a simple elegance and it is very dependent on the artist's hand in creating form with it.
My jewelry creations today tap into my love for beauty and the Goddess quality that is within us. I have a great love and respect for nature, angels and animals. I acknowledge the natural healing qualities of gemstones in my work and the vibrational qualities in the natural materials and hope to highlight that more and more. My jewelry is charged with love and light. It has an uplifting quality that adds beauty to the wearer.
My needle felted wool sculptures touch my heart when I make them and the inner child of those who appreciate them. In a sense they open one's heart and we all need that!
