I like painting and I like wine...the rest is history

I started painted wine glasses in 2005 when my mother turned to me and said, "I shouldn't have to buy painted wine glasses in a store....you're pretty crafty and I'd like you to paint me some for Christmas". I painted her a set - all different designs - and she loves them still. And then I got hooked! I started painting a set here and there for a family friend's boutique, and then I stumbled upon Etsy in 2009. My journey with Etsy has been wonderful and it has allowed me to connect with so many wonderful buyers that have purchased my designs and have entrusted me with their vision and custom orders as well.

Painting glassware (and now mugs) on Etsy is not my full time job - I just get a sale here and there on the side. By day I am an IT Recruiter which works the left side of my brain...hard! When I get home, I work on any Etsy orders that come through or try out some new designs which exercises the creative half of my brain! My studio is in the basement of my home and I'm so fortunate to have a creative nook all to myself to paint. My work table is actually the bedroom door from my house growing up. I had treated it as a scrapbook over the years and when my childhood home got sold, I took that door with me. My husband attached some legs and some plexiglass on top, and voila! I have a perfect work space full of memories.

So that's where you'll find me - in my basement painting glasses or packing up orders listening to Fleetwood Mac, Andy Gibb (don't judge), and Paul Simon records. Or you'll find me on the couch, exhausted, listening to my toddler snore on the baby monitor, my dog snuggling at my legs, watching Big Bang Theory re-runs. :o) I'm also probably drinking wine....

Thank you for visiting my etsy page! When I see a wine glass, I see an empty canvas. If you want a magical wine drinking experience and a conversation piece all in one, take home a set of my hand-painted stemware today!

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
My wine glasses are priced based on labor and materials. Some sets are priced higher than others because it takes me longer to paint that particular design. All of my wine glasses are sold in sets of four or two with the occasional single. However, since I welcome custom work, I can break up the set (or add more) and I will price that accordingly.

I accept all payments through Paypal, and you do not need to create a paypal account to pay this way. I do require that I get full payment before your purchase is shipped.
I list an average shipping price of $13 for sets of four glasses; $10 for singles and pairs. Wine glasses can be different shapes, heavier or lighter than others, but my shipping fees include packaging and handling. I use USPS Priority Mail for all of my shipping.

I am confident that your package will arrive safely. Each glass is individually wrapped in bubble wrap, placed in a white box, and then placed in a brown shipping box with lots of padding around it. However, you never know what can happen to a package after it leaves my hands. If your order arrives damaged, please refer to my refund policy below.
Refunds and Exchanges
I will pack your wine glasses to the best of my abilitiy, but shipping can always be unpredictable. If your wine glasses arrive damaged, please take a picture and forward it to me as soon as possible. You will either get replacement glasses or a refund - up to you.

All sales are final unless there is proven damage. If you decide that you don't like the design, please don't smash it, send me a picture, and demand a refund. That's just...dishonest and cheeky! Please feel free to send requests for additional pictures prior to purchase. I'd be happy to do it! After all, paint looks different when light is directly on it and when it shines through it. If we work together honestly, I promise you will receive a lovely product!
Additional policies and FAQs
My glasses are individually wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in a crisp white box. The box is tied up with yarn and a decoration of some sort. That box is placed in a cardboard box with extra padding for shipping.

I am not limited to stemware either! If you like a design I have posted or would like to send me an image, I can create a set of any kind of glassware you want: champagne flute, beer glass, juice glass, etc. I will email you pictures of the glasses I purchase in advance so we're on the same page.
