The artwork by RaebirdCreations is wonderful, whimsical, and contemplative. I have purchased and framed 3 such wonderful prints (Sonoran Tortoise, Red Desert, Talavera Javelina). For this print, I used a dark green mat, but I also had great results with dark purple on the others. Thank you.

The artwork by RaebirdCreations is both whimsical and deeply contemplative. This item (Red Desert) was my third purchase (the others being Sonoran Tortoise and Talavera Javelina). I have framed and matted them all in similar fashion. However, with dark purple mat, this one (Red Desert) is perhaps the most spectacular. The artists at the local framing shop were raving about them all, but particularly this one. I love the art by this artist, and cleared out some other artwork off my wall to make room for these. I love this artwork. I purchased my first print (Sonoran Tortoise), and put it into a bleached, weathered-style frame with a dark purple border mat. It looks fantastic. I loved it so much, I bought two complementary prints (Red Desert and Talavera Javelina) and am framing them in a similar way. The people at the local art store rave about all three prints.
