About

I just really love making colourful and fun jewellery!

I started making jewellery in the form of simple elasticated, plastic bead bracelets while I was a student in 1999. I would wear loads all the way up to my elbows when I went clubbing and give them to anyone who admired them or to people I made friends with :)

My obsession with beads grew over the years and I began to sell my bracelets on a little stall on the university campus. After uni I worked in a local art and craft shop, where I also sold some of my creations. By then I was making more elaborate jewellery and not just bracelets - earrings, necklaces and brooches too.

I also began to sell my jewellery online. I particularly loved making chunky, kitsch charm bracelets (still do!) and I sold beads and jewellery supplies as a side line. Eventually, in 2006, I started up my little shop here on Etsy, and currently it is the only venue I use.

I'm a single-person "cottage industry" (though my lovely partner will kindly take packages to the post office for me now and again!) and I don't bring in a fortune, but I love making my pretty, happy jewels and sharing them with others :)

Please be aware that if you pay via Paypal I cannot mail to an address which is different from that associated with your Paypal account.
Shipping
I live in England, in the U.K. and I ship worldwide.

I mail purchases within two or three working days of payment, usually the very next day. I will then send you a message to let you know your item is on its way. All packages are insured.

Most of my listings are set up to automatically calculate the combined shipping/postage costs of multiple items. If the cost of mailing your item(s) is less than what you paid I will contact you and refund the excess after mailing.

When you have received your purchase it would be great if you could let me know - either via an email or Etsy conversation or by leaving positive feedback (if you're pleased with your purchase). If you're not happy with your purchase or if there is any other problem please contact me before leaving feedback and I will do my very best to resolve it.
Refunds and Exchanges
I will fully refund (including shipping) any item that arrives faulty or damaged, or has been lost in the mail/post. I may ask you to email me photos of the damage etc. I will refund you the cost of mailing faulty or damaged items to me. If your item has been lost in the mail I may ask for you co-operation in trying to find it and in making a claim with Royal Mail (the shipping company I use).

I accept returns for items that you have changed your mind about. The items must be returned to me within 14 days of receipt and in their original condition. I will refund the cost of the item but I will not refund the original shipping and I will not cover the cost of mailing the item back to me.
Additional policies and FAQs
I can make adjustments to items, usually for free (additional materials may be charged for).

I can do custom orders - just send me a message and we can discuss it. I will request a deposit for most projects.
