Announcement   Welcome to our shop! We create jewelry and accessories made of wood, metal, stone, and whatever else we find fascinating. Our pieces are all handcrafted. We love using recycled, found, and other alternative materials in creative ways.

Each of our pieces is one of a kind. While we may utilize a design element in more than one piece, we do not mass produce any of our designs. No two pieces of wood are ever the same, we figure we should follow nature’s example.

We do not use dyes or stains on our woods. These colors occur naturally in this wide variety of domestic and exotic hardwoods. We use a high quality leather from a certified green business that contains no lead dyes. All our pieces are sent with a project card detailing the materials used and come packaged ready to give as a gift.

I have been such a slack customer and it has taken me weeks to get around to this review but I LOVE THIS LOCKET. It is beautifully crafted, and my partner loves it :) I was even surprised when it arrived on Christmas Eve. Very fast shipping..considering I'm in Australia and it was during the Christmas period. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Would highly recommend.

Additional policies and FAQs
A note about sustainability:

As woodworkers, it’s very important to us that there always be this incredible variety of wood to work with. Here’s what we do to try to help make sure that’s true:
1. We use recycled or re-purposed wood when we can find it. Your piece may contain the leftovers of someone’s hardwood floor or a slice of an old banister. Our family and friends are always on the lookout for something we might use.
2. When we purchase wood, it comes from a local woodworking store that buys sustainably harvested wood.
3. We love leftovers! A woodworker making furniture may have little use for smaller pieces. We happily scrounge through bargain bins, and take scraps - they’re just the right size for us!
4. We try not to waste anything! the smallest scrap may some day be a toggle for a pendant or an accent on a ring. Maybe someday we’ll figure out how to use our shavings and sawdust and we’ll use that too!

How pieces are finished:

Our finishing process starts with several stages of sanding. We then apply tung oil to each piece. This brings out the grain and color of the wood and helps protect the piece for moisture and wear. When the tung oil is dry, the piece is sanded again. It’s then buffed on a buffing wheel. The piece is then waxed with a microcrystalline wax to protect this finish. We wax each piece several times, hand buffing it between each application.

Should your piece show signs of wear, buffing with an old t-shirt or other soft cloth should bring back the shiny glow it started with!

Wholesale and custom orders:

We are open to wholesale requests and happy to accept custom orders.

A note about wood:

We love wood because of its never-ending variety and it’s natural beauty. Wood is unpredictable and imperfections are a part of its beauty.
