Announcement    Blessings for the Celtic New Year to come!
(All Hallows, Halloween, Samhain, and Dia de los Muertes all come in with the Celtic New Year)

The days now grow shorter and colder as we head through Fall and into Winter and we look ahead to the upcoming holidays. With that in mind we have some great news with the shop! The supply issues we've had in getting both purpleheart and padauk woods have subsided a bit, and so our prices also dropped. If you've been looking to buy a purpleheart or padauk piece this might be the best time! While we are able to get the supplies as we are they will stay the same, but as always we have to adjust as the market changes and our supplies and ability to get supplies change.

We also have a SALE COMING UP for Samhain! We're offering a 20% discount off all items related to death and dying. Please note that there might be a few items we were unable to discount automatically so reach out to us if that deal didn't apply and we'll adjust and refund the difference manually. Just send us a message with the order.

Our lives in our little temporary shop spaces is a lot easier when it's warmer, and we're still working on our shop build. We have the engineering and permits and are almost finished getting the bids we need to finance it. We have several campsites now up on HipCamp (look for Erosia) that people can rent. You can come visit us in Washington State! We're at the base of the peninsula about 30 min drive west of Olympia, just the perfect place for a landing pad while exploring the Pacific NW.

Karl's health update: His multiple myeloma numbers are going in the right direction with his current treatment protocols, but he's been a bit sick with a bronchial infection in August and is still recovering as his immune system is still compromised. There still are days that he is better and others he gets less done. We do our best to estimate production times and have gotten pretty good at getting things done and out to customers in the estimated time, but there might be occasions we need to let you know we'll be a bit longer in getting your order completed. C'est la vie!

with Blessings, Gratitude,
and Hope that you have a fantastic fall!

A note on shipping- we do our best on our side and will help as able, and once we take it to the post it's mostly out of our hands.

International Shipping- We are sometimes willing to ship to countries other than what we've got listed but do want to have a conversation before accepting these orders, so if you're looking from another place around the world and our shop says it won't ship to us, please do send us a personal note and double check. We use the Etsy's Global Shipping, which uses USPS to a distribution center and then sends out via other carriers. The customs number comes to us on the tracking once it's left that distribution center and arrived in the destination country.

Sometimes multiple orders are made at one time and the Etsy doesn't put them together for shipping. If it seems that your shipping seems extraordinarily high please reach out to us as we might be able to pack things together to bring the cost down.

If you order from another country please check back on the tracking a couple days after getting the tracking number and see if you have your customs number. That's the one you will need to track it inside your country.

*AUSTRALIA* had some issues with imports and other friends who are sellers are not shipping there due to major issues they had, but so far we've been good. We continue to ship to Australia.

*POLAND* is not showing up on Etsy right now for us to buy shipping labels but the Etsy system has accepted orders from Poland and charged shipping for us to not be able to ship to the customer through Etsy! SO STRANGE! I've reported the situation to Etsy with nothing coming back to me. I was able to still ship going to PayPal and shipping through ShipStation, but be aware this might be a problem.

*GERMANY* implemented a system of tracking how much packaging is used for shipping products from manufacturers so we are unable to ship there anymore, sadly. The system doesn't make sense for producers at our scale, which is miniscule. If you are from Germany please talk to your legislators about it because they should be able to implement a "work around" rule for tiny producers like us that generally re-use our packing material whenever we can.

Returns/Exchanges: International orders always pay shipping both ways on refunds or exchanges. A "full refund" for us is the full refund of the product's price, not shipping. There are ways we can get reimbursement for shipping via insurance if there is a lost or damaged item so always contact us if there are issues or concerns. If we are able to access insurance and there is enough reimbursement from the insurance to cover the shipping costs we will refund them to you up to what we get paid from the insurance carrier.

European Union: If the item is exchangeable, meaning that it is not custom or damaged, we always give the minimum allowable by law. Right now we understand this to be 14 days to contact us from date of delivery.

Errors in calculating shipping- As stated before, Etsy's system doesn't always calculate the shipping correctly, especially on orders purchasing several items. It makes assumptions about packing into multiple boxes and may or may not have the correct weight for your box. Many times the system over estimates the cost we find. We will refund any money (over $1) paid over the actual cost on our shipping when Etsy charges too much. Also, contact us if the shipping or addition of fees seems extraordinarily high. We will look at it and see if there is anything we can do to help bring the price down.

Frequently asked questions

Why didn't the 15% off code work for my order?

Our 15% off code for the friends of the shop is being phased out due to all the other fees we're being slammed with here on Etsy. Please visit our website and/or talk with us directly.

How do I use my ___? (fill in the blank)

While Sarah and Karl are both skilled and highly trained in the spiritual arts the specialty of this shop is the design and fabrication of your tool. We encourage you to join groups in social media and to research historic texts and online sources. We can sometimes steer you in directions that are helpful, but we are not set up to teach how to use the items we make. Sarah does offer a spiritual coaching service you might utilize- for more info please ask her directly about it.

What happens if you already shipped the item and I want to cancel it?

Sometimes it happens that the item is already made and in stock and ready to ship out. We do our best to ship things from the shop ASAP, so if you find you want to cancel and it's already shipped, please ship it back to us and we will cancel the order if you notify us within 24 hours post purchase. However, for us realistically to be able to catch an order for all cases we put 3 hours for cancellation in our policies section. Contact us ASAP and if it's not been shipped and is not a custom order we've already done work on, we will always do our best to refund your money.

Can I exchange or return customized items?

No. Once you customize something we usually cannot exchange it, but you can ask. This is because we make each item to order so that the customized areas are correct for each person ordering. The basic color on velvet for the altar boxes is black. Anything different is considered a customization.
