I'm an apparel designer currently residing in the panhandle of Florida. I've always been influenced by my natural environment, as well as all things vintage. My current clothing line is created with vintage fabrics with an emphasis on fun, playful designs, and loud, dramatic prints. Most pieces in my shop are one of a kind.

Please contact me with questions, comments, or concerns, THROUGH ETSY; I've experienced a couple of customers trying to contact me through email, and it goes to my junk mail, so I might not get your message!

Because 85% of my designs are made with fabrics that are anywhere from 20 to 60 years old, there will be minor flaws in the materials from time to time. These fabrics have often been stored in attics or boxes for decades, and have sometimes acquired signs of age over time. Examples of age include dust marks where fold lines were, fading, discolorations, mildew spots, or small stains. These are rare, but when present, I'll point such flaws out in the item description.

I work very hard to bring my customers the very best, using rare and one of a kind materials. Therefore, my customers are guaranteed unique, quality products that cannot be found anywhere else.

Shipping
All vintage supplies, and 'Made to Ship' items will be shipped 1-3 business days following purchase. Shipping times for 'Made to Order' items vary, so please look in the item listing for construction/ship times. I accept requests for rush orders, but please contact me BEFORE PURCHASE.

I ship using USPS First Class unless your order will be heavier than 13 ounces, in which case, I will ship with Priority Mail. Signature Confirmation is available for an additional $2.55. Please contact me BEFORE YOU BUY if you would like to add Signature Confirmation or if you want to use another method of shipping besides First Class. I will adjust shipping for your desired purchase to include any additional fees.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Please allow more time for your purchase to arrive. It may take two weeks OR MORE to arrive once shipped from the US depending on where you are. My experience has been that mail is particularly slow to arrive in Russia. I have more than one package sent to Russia that took almost 90 days to arrive. I have no control over this, and kindly ask that if you are a Russian customer, you try to be extra patient and please do not hold me responsible for the pace of the postal service. Please do not ask me to falsify the customs forms in any way. I will not alter the number of items you decide to purchase or their value. Buyer is responsible for all Custom duties and taxes in your country. The Paisley Unicorn shop is not responsible for any added charges.

We will provide 'Registered' mail protection for $11.95 to further insure international purchases upon request from buyer. We are not responsible for loss or damage of unregistered international orders. Please contact me before purchase so that I may adjust the shipping cost to include Registration.
Refunds and Exchanges
NO refunds or exchanges unless there are extenuating circumstances. We work hard to accurately describe items, including any existing flaws, in the descriptions and accompanying photographs so that there are no surprises to the buyer. It is the buyer's responsibility to read the description and view all the photos.

In the event of extenuating circumstances we will typically offer an exchange. For exchange, the item must be returned, and shipping fees will be refunded to the buyer on a case by case basis.
Additional policies and FAQs
SIZING
My sizing and measurement details are provided for the customer to compare against their personal measurements. It is the customers' responsibility to note the size of the garment, and ensure that their own measurements correlate. Therefore, it is very important to carefully record your measurements, and compare them against the sizing chart listed on my home page to ensure proper fit before purchasing. I pin larger sizes to fit my models/mannequin correctly, therefore, always go by the sizing indicated in the description, and not necessarily the size that is on the petite model. I try to honestly describe the items in my shop in as much detail as possible. However if you have further questions about an item or would like to see more photos, I am happy to accommodate you.

PHOTOGRAPHING CLOTHING
In order to portray the garment as it should fit the body, many times I have to use clothespins to temporarily take in the garment while on the mannequin or model. Therefore, always go by the measurements given in the description, and not what size the item appears to be in the photo.

CONSTRUCTION LOCATIONS
All items in my Etsy shop are my designs constructed in a smoke-free, cat-loving, but clean home.

MATERIALS USED
Nearly all items are either one of a kind or limited edition. I use very unique vintage materials including fabric, buttons, and zippers (unused and in packaging). I may use a fabric in more than one garment, i.e., a skirt and a dress. I rarely make the same garment out of the same fabric unless stated in the item description
. I will accept requests for wholesale orders.
