From Our Sanctuary to Yours: Spreading PLURR One Bracelet at a Time
Hi, we're Frenchie and E-Mood, a married couple, lifelong music lovers, and the hearts behind Rave Rewire.
For nearly ten years, we've been raving together, and somewhere between the dance floors, sunrise sets, and countless shared moments, we fell in love with more than just the music. We fell in love with the community.
In a world that can often feel chaotic, uncertain, and disconnected, the rave scene gave us something rare: a place to be fully ourselves. A place where self-expression is celebrated, differences are embraced, and strangers become family. The dance floor became our sanctuary, a space where judgment fades away and connection takes center stage.
At the core of that experience is PLURR: Peace, Love, Unity, Respect, and Responsibility.
These values have shaped our lives both inside and outside of festivals, and they're the reason we often say we'll be "raving to the grave." The rave community has given us friendships, confidence, joy, and a sense of belonging that we carry with us every day.
One of the traditions we've always held especially close is the PLUR handshake. There's something incredibly meaningful about taking a moment to connect with another person, exchanging kindness, sharing a bracelet/necklace, and creating a memory that lasts long after the music ends. To us, kandi has never just been jewelry, it's a symbol of connection.
