All sales are final. I do my very best to give thorough descriptions of the items I am selling, and provide the most accurate photos possible of my merchandise, so buyers are able to make a completely informed decision on what they want to purchase from me. If you pay for it, and you receive it, you own it. If you change your mind and decide you don't want what you bought once you receive it, gift it to someone who will appreciate it. If you break what you have purchased, convo me to arrange to have the piece you broke repaired, if that is possible. The decision is yours.

All items are carefully packaged and, with appropriate handling, should arrive in excellent condition. If an item has been damaged in the mail, it will have been tracked and insured as part of the shipment costs. I must have photos of the damaged item and the entire packaging (envelope and box) to show they were damaged by the postal service to prove to them that the package was mishandled in order to file an insurance claim. Once I receive a refund check, I will reimburse the buyer for the damaged item. This can take up to 45 days. The buyer can either wait for that reimbursement to process before having the item repaired, or send the item back to me and pay for the appropriate costs (s/h and repairs) to have that done and be reimbursed later when the claim has been paid.
You can use PayPal or Direct Purchase with the credit cards listed as those being acceptable at point of purchase.

To guide you in using PayPal:

Any duties owed on international shipments are the buyer's responsibility.
Shipping is free domestically for all purchases over $35. For international, it's $20 for the first item and $2 for each additional item.

HOWEVER: If you make a mistake with your address, and your package is returned to me because it could not be delivered to you, you are responsible for paying all reshipping costs so I can send the package back to you with the corrected address. Please, keep that in mind, and make sure you have your address entered correctly when you make your purchase! Refunds are not issued for items lost in the mail due to incorrect addresses.

If a domestic or overseas shipment is delayed or lost, I have no control over that. Please check with your local postal delivery system to see what happened to your package using the tracking number provided. Your item is insured, so if your postal service loses your item, you can be reimbursed for its cost once you notify me about it, I make a claim with insurance, and I have received the insurance payment.
Additional policies and FAQs

The jewellery in my shop is not made of precious metals or precious jewels. Regardless, I do my best to use quality materials, many of them vintage, to ensure that with careful wear, every piece I create will last for years. There is no soldering used in the creation of my pieces. Instead, I employ the toughest jeweller's adhesive sold at this time to attach the various parts in my jewellery pieces to each other. With that in mind, a certain amount of caution needs to be taken when wearing my creations. They are not overly delicate but will not stand up to rough, or careless treatment. Please avoid dropping your jewellery items or allowing them to bang into or rub up against fabrics and other things, so they remain intact.

For all pieces embellished with watch movement gears: Please be aware that these gears have serrated edges which tend to catch on fabrics, so take appropriate precautions. I never wear scarves or other fabrics over my own Victorian industrial/steampunk style jewellery for this very reason. If your jewellery happens to get caught on anything like heavily textured fabric, etc., please carefully detach it without excessive pulling. Otherwise, parts may break away from the jewellery and/or damage the fabrics to which the jewellery has inadvertently become attached. Also, it is unwise to allow car seat belts to rub/rest against your jewellery as they, too, can damage them.

In the case of bracelets: please avoid over-tightening them! Any wrist cuff/bracelet I sell should ONLY be tightened at its ends, and NEVER should its entire length be bent, as that may cause elements to break/fall off of it. If the buyer chooses to over-adjust any bracelet I sell, causing parts to fall off of it, I will not be responsible for that resulting damage. Even the best adhesives can only do so much. None of my pieces should be worn when swimming, or in the shower, while doing your household chores, or during other vigorous activities/exercise. Remove them before doing any of these things, or I cannot ensure that they won't be irreparably damaged if you refuse, or forget, to do so. I test wear every single piece of jewellery I make to ensure that it is as sturdy as possible, and can tolerate careful, appropriate wear in good form. Think of it this way: you are wearing a small piece of handmade artwork, so treat it as carefully and respectfully as you would, hopefully, treat any other piece of hand made art.

If for some reason, any piece bought from my shop should need to be repaired because of damage caused by a customer, I am more than happy to do the repairs (if they are possible), but the cost of missing parts, my time ($10 per hr.) and all shipping costs to and from my shop are the responsibility of the customer.

If you have a question about any piece of jewellery from my shop, before or after you purchase it, please feel free to message me through Etsy. I want you to be happy with the products I'm selling and with my service. And if you are well pleased with your purchase, please leave feedback. I assure you, it will enhance your own feelings of largess, and totally make my day at the same time. Here's a guide to help you leave feedback if you have never done so before:

If you would like me to put a piece on reserve for you, I'm happy to do so for up to one week at no charge. However, I will only do it one time per piece, and it MUST be purchased within a week's time or it will be relisted as available to the general public for purchase. Simply convo me with your request and I will change the listing to show it is reserved in your name so that no one else will purchase the item.
