About

Creativity drives me

Creativity is the one thing that drives me—from the simplicity of a putting two beads together to the complexity of a detailed drawing. It’s something that I always go back to even when there’s nothing else to depend on.

One thing that I am passionate about is drawing. I particularly love taking out my pastels and getting dirty. The colors are always so vivid and eye-catching. My fingers are my first drawing tool when it comes to blending and smoothing out the colors. Drawing is something that I’ve always done ever since I was a kid. Crayons and markers were my favorites. I graduated to other mediums like graphite and colored pencils as I got older. When pastels came into the picture, though, the world just opened up. I also enjoy experimenting with other mediums, but I always go back to pastels.

My creativity has lead me into a do it yourself world. That’s how I got started into jewelry making. It started out as a way to make gifts for people. It turned into so much more than that. I wanted to learn more techniques and use my creativity to make unique pieces. Some of my more unique pieces consist of things from the hardware store and fishing lures. And then I wanted to learn more. That led me into more metalworking techniques starting out with chainmaille. It’s still a learning process. I am convinced that there’s always more to learn, even when you think you are done learning.

I’ve always been the type of person who wants to figure things out. If there’s a problem, I want to find a way to fix it. Many times I’ve used that to my advantage when I am out working in my jobs. What it does for me is help me be more knowledgeable about my position and be a better worker. I enjoy using my creativity to better my environment.

My creativity has always been a benefit to my life. When I was at my lowest point in my life and lost all interest and hope, picking up my colored pencils and drawing was one of the first things that brought me back to life. I can do almost anything with my creativity. I put it to use all the time whether it be cooking up a new dish or doing work around the house. It will always be a part of me as long as I live.

I love to create. I hope that I can provide, for you, fun jewelry at affordable prices. I do everything myself -- designing, photographing. I hope you will enjoy the things I make as much as I enjoy making them.
