Absolutely beautiful item, crafted with precision and passion for the lost art of watchmaking. Had this made as an anniversary present and it did not fail to impress... Communication along the way was timely and detailed information was given at every step with all requests on this custom build catered for. I'm definitely recommending to all my friends. Impeccable service and beautiful craftsmanship.

So Many Ideas - So Little Time - Part 1

We are a mother & daughter team who has been creating, crafting, & collaborating for years. We alone operate all aspects of Razael's Lair from start to finish. Razael's Lair essentially was a simple attempt of one of my many ideas and although certainly not a shop of grand scale, it has come to mean a lot to me in more ways than one. Razael's Lair allows me to express some of my creative ideas into tangible form using my own hands and present them to others. In the Lair I exercise my years of experience in various modes of art by creating what I hope to be perceived as uniquely-designed, quality pieces with a distinctive personal touch.

My process is quite simply...I get ideas..( lots of them, sometimes too many ) then I search high and low for materials & supplies that I can use to best create, in some cases 'build' the desired result. Then I cut, twist, paint, manipulate, rearrange, fuse and/or whatever it takes to transform those supplies & materials into the end result that I have envisioned. I briefly outline details in each individual listing & also list supplies I use under the 'materials' section of each listing so there is no mistake that my finished pieces are a direct result of my creative ideas, designed then hand-crafted by my hands alone, using the materials that I have listed, all in a way to best achieve the end result I desire.
I also take not-so-good photos,( only because I'm not so good at photography), and list the item - with hopes some peoples will like and/or appreciate my work & perhaps make a purchase.
I want to add that the Lair would never have been able to come into existence, or still be, if not for the kind support from my daughter, Angel. From the start she has shared resources and time, for which I am most grateful. And now I am trying to return the favor, albeit slowly, by lending my time to her new shop, Lilliana's Den, which features her hand-crafted goods, some vintage finds & DIY supplies. Greetings! Thanks so much for visiting. :) There's a variety of hand-painted, hand-linked and/or personalized items to choose from in a lovely spectrum of colors. Although no two can be deemed perfectly alike, I do strive for consistency and quality in all of my hand-crafted creations. All aspects of Razael's Lair are handled solely by me, as outlined in my 'About' page, except at busy times when I receive help from my daughter with shipping runs to the local post office.

Each individual listing outlines whether an item is MADE TO ORDER or READY TO SHIP , with an ESTIMATED turn-around TIME..... please note these turn-around times, which may vary at certain times depending upon recent sales volume... please note that BUSINESS days are Monday through Friday, except for the occasional HOLIDAY and/or VACATION that falls on a weekday. Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, & Vacation are spent with my family, so if you send a question during this time it may not be answered within my regular 24 hour response time. Also please understand that MADE TO ORDER items cannot always be rushed including personalized, hand-painted, linked, or wired as for example, I cannot make an item dry any faster. If there are no READY TO SHIP listings , it is because they are sold out, or materials are low, or volume is currently at a rate that no more can currently be made in advance.
I take extra care to describe listings accurately and include much detail, so please read titles, listings, and descriptions of colors, metals, measurements,etc to ensure the item will suit your needs before you purchase.

Custom Orders are welcome, just contact me and a response with questions and/or a quote will be sent within 1 BUSINESS day.

Custom Reserve Listings are created occasionally & individually when a conversation with a buyer merits one, however once created EACH will expire on date as SHOWN in listing. And if the buyer still has not purchased the item(s) by the expiration date, the reserved listing will be taken down & the item(s) relisted in the shop for other potential buyers.

USPS 1ST CLASS PACKAGE INCLUDES TRACKING & DELIVERY CONFIRMATION SERVICE TO YOUR ADDRESS (usually arrives 3-5 BUSINESS days within continental USA ~ Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, usually 5-7 BUSINESS days)

USPS PRIORITY SHIPPING is available to U.S. buyers by adding the "UPGRADE TO USPS PRIORITY" listing in my shop to their order. You will find the listing under UPGRADES/ADD-ONS.

**INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
USPS 1ST CLASS INTERNATIONAL PACKAGE via ENDICIA ~ My shipping service issues a CUSTOMS NUMBER, which I send to each buyer at time of shipment. At USPS.com entering your CUSTOMS NUMBER will show records of the date your package is mailed by me, then the date it is processed in Miami, FL from where it leaves the U.S., then the date when it is successfully delivered to your address. However no tracking is available during the time after the pkg leaves the U.S. from Miami, until it reaches its destination.
DELIVERY TIMES DIFFER ACCORDING TO EACH COUNTRY & THEIR CUSTOMS PROCESS. MOST "USUALLY" ARRIVE WITHIN 2 - 4 WKS AFTER SHIPMENT DATE, BUT ARE NOT GUARANTEED.
**Please note any import duties, taxes and charges added to item or shipping charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please do not confuse these as additional charges by me, the seller. I cannot mark merchandise below its value or as a gift because US & International postal regulations prohibit it.

USPS PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL is available, but is quite expensive. USPS states delivery time is 6-10 BUSINESS days after mailing, but is not guaranteed. In most cases the cost is at least twice the cost of USPS 1st Class International. Please contact me if you want a specific quote for Priority International Shipping to your country, which of course is dependent on weight of pkg & country of destination.

USPS EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL is also available, but again is very expensive. USPS states delivery time is 3 - 5 BUSINESS days after mailing, but is not guaranteed. Please contact me if you want a specific quote for EXPRESS MAIL International to your country, which of course is dependent on weight of pkg & country of destination.


I currently ONLY ship to locations listed in each individual listing.
Refunds and Exchanges
It is important that you contact/convo me through Etsy conversations within 3 days of receipt of item if there is a problem regarding an item.
I personally test, re-test, and inspect each item before I then personally package it, and I enclose care instruction sheets with each item. If an item is returned I can tell
if a problem was caused during shipping or if it just has been handled too roughly by
a recipient. Refunds, replacements, and/or workable solutions are handled on an individual case basis. Refunds of item cost, minus shipping & handling, can be issued after buyer's timely return of the item, but is dependent upon the circumstances, as will be discussed in conversations between me & buyer via messages through Etsy conversations. When items UNUSED, are placed in original box, & sent back using tracking & delivery confirmation, in a timely manner, generally refund for costs of item, but not shipping will be issued. Requests to cancel or exchange MADE-TO-ORDER items are determined by the individual item & transaction, the availability of materials needed for replacement, reasons for cancelation or exchange, & length of time that has passed since original item was ordered and/or delivered.

So essentially returns and/or refunds are at my sole discretion, but I am always fair & reasonable offering workable solutions to each unique situation. Buyer is also responsible for all return shipping costs.

I as seller cannot be responsible for delay in POSTAL DELIVERY. I often review shipping options available but to date it is still USPS that is best for the volume of my shop. Once I drop off a package at the post office, I honestly have no choice but to trust USPS to do the rest. As a rule they are very reliable and only occasionally have problems and/or delays. I provide tracking with every item shipped in the U.S., and a customs number with every International package. Buyers can check the postal activity recorded on their packages simply by going to USPS.com & entering their tracking/customs number which is provided for each transaction in a shipping email sent at the time of shipping. If a buyer has a time-sensitive date coming up, it is simply just best for the buyer to order early.
I as seller cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. I provide tracking with every item shipped in the U.S., and a customs number with every International package. Please contact me and we can discuss your options.
I as seller am not responsible for buyer's failure to provide CORRECT address. I have reminders in my invoice response regarding this. If a buyer realizes AFTER the item is shipped that the address in PAYPAL was incorrect, there is really nothing I can do. If the item comes back to me undamaged by USPS, a refund for item cost MINUS SHIPPING & HANDLING , will be promptly issued to buyer. Again, if there is a problem, please contact me promptly so we can discuss it further, as many times each situation is different.
