A win-win situation for our library and community

Community members donate books to our library. The Newark Library League has regular book sales to generate income but not all books are sold.
Community members are looking for ways to volunteer.
Creating art by reusing and repurposing books is a volunteer job that can be done by all types of people, either at the library or at home.
Combining the two in order to raise money for our library birthed our Read & Repurpose Etsy shop!
