Glenn P. Scharf is a Certified Financial Fiduciary®, founder and CEO of Scharf Group, LLC, founder and publisher at ProsperUS Press, LLC. With over four decades of experience in financial services, Glenn has dedicated his career to helping families navigate the complexities of debt, wealth, retirement, and legacy.
But it wasn’t until he found himself “sandwiched” between raising three children and caring for his aging parents that his true mission emerged. Following a profound moment of role reversal with his father, Glenn recognized that the greatest financial and emotional challenges men face aren't found on a spreadsheet, they are found at home. That experience transformed him into a Family Strategist, dedicated to helping men transition from the chaos of multi-generational caregiving to the control of a well-executed plan.
Originally from the Philadelphia suburbs and a graduate of Ursinus College, Glenn relocated his family and parents to Sarasota, Florida, in 2014. His firm’s holistic, education-first approach has earned local and national recognition, including multiple SRQ Magazine “Best Financial Advisor” honors and a feature on The Balancing Act with Montel Williams.
Outside of his professional and advocacy work, Glenn is an active volunteer, philanthropist, and long-time BNI member. He enjoys travel, boating, theater, cooking, volleyball, and, in his younger years, taking to the air as a flying trapeze flyer. Above all, Glenn is devoted to his family, sharing his life in Florida with his wife, their three children, and two Havanese dogs. He firmly believes that true manhood is measured by the strength of the foundation we build for those who depend on us.
