Announcement    Welcome to Painted Sketches Plus! I'm Karen Winslow, a Vermont Fine Artist, and I am offering original plein air studies in gouache and watercolors, as well as original, hand-pulled etchings and note cards from some of my paintings.

My etchings are traditionally crafted using copper plates, handmade grounds, archival inks and 100% rag papers. Each print is a unique original artwork, and most are offered unframed and unmatted (unless noted otherwise). All prints are done by hand on our Charles Brand press, and we print small editions, as well as unique artist proofs of various "states".

The paintings are small, alla prima studies that are painted from life (not photographs), and most were done as demos when I was teaching, or plein air studies.
