My name is Nophar. I'm a fashion designer, owner, designer and creator of the fashion jewelry brand Reason To Be Pretty. I create beautiful lightweight bohemian-modern statement jewelry, made of cords, fringe tassels, wood elements and metal components, all hand made, crafted in my Harlem based studio and plated in USA. There's a 'pink' hue to everything I touch, even when it's black. I believe we deserve to be surrounded by prettiness, wherever we go, so I always aspire to create an exquisite, unique and comfortable Day-To-Night jewelry to prettify any outfit, from a basic T-shirt to and evening gown, so that the customer will feel and look pretty at any given moment.
When I arrived in NYC I immediately started working for well known fashion studios, specializing in embroideries and embellishments, while participating in world known embroidery competitions and continued my studies. In 2010 I decided to launch Reason To Be Pretty, a lavish and eclectic jewelry line, featuring a variety of necklaces, earrings and bracelets, from extravagant to delicate pieces with zealous attention to materials, color combination, weight, comfort and style. I have sensitive skin, so I try to use the best materials available, alongside beautiful vintage components that makes a each design not only pretty but also unique.
