Me propuse hacer algo que fuera consistente con mis valores, ecológico y sustentable, por lo que usar 100% lino fue la opción perfecta.
El lino es práctico y funcional, pero es puro lujo "asequible". Ser ecológico es muy importante para mí. El lino se elabora a partir de la planta del lino, que es resistente a la sequía, por lo que se puede cultivar en casi cualquier lugar. Utilizo una tinta a base de agua no tóxica, por lo que no tiene ningún impacto en el medio ambiente. Quería algo que fuera tan fácil de cuidar y que no requiriera ningún trabajo adicional aparte de lavar la ropa. Cada pieza está hecha a mano comenzando con el prelavado y el secado a máquina del lino para que tu pieza no encoja la primera vez que la lavas. A continuación, corto, imprimo y coso con esquinas en inglete para mayor resistencia con lavados repetidos. Yo mismo empaqueto y envío cada pedido.

I set out to make something that was consistent with my values, eco-friendly and sustainable, so using 100% linen was the perfect fit.
Linen is practical and functional yet it's pure "affordable" luxury. Being eco- friendly is very important to me. linen is made from the flax plant which is drought resistant so it can be grown just about anywhere. I use a non toxic water based ink, so it has no impact to the environment. I wanted something that was so easy to care for and doesn't require any extra work other than laundry. Each piece is made by hand starting with pre-washing and machine drying the linen so that your piece doesn't shrink the first time you wash it. Next, I cut , print and sew with mitered corners for extra strength with repeat washes. I package and ship every order myself.
By adding my vintage inspired screen printed designs, I have a collection of linen pillows and table linens that I believe you will love too.
