Rescued and Recycled Vintage in Texas.
I got out of the car, walked up to the table, and there she was; a doll that would fit into the palm of my hand. She had a plump little face, and what appeared to be handmade clothes. At the age of six I made my first vintage purchase for twenty-five cents at a neighborhood tag sale.
What started out as a simple childhood experience has become a full time passion. Since that time I have been hunting down items and making them a part of my life. Some might think I take it a bit far, from my furniture, home decor, and appliances, I try to find things previously owned before I purchase new. On my searches I come across so many wonderful vintage items that are hard to pass up; so that's why I created Recycled Wares. It's my way of giving these wonderful items recycled lives and a new beginning.
The recycling and eco-friendly part of my business gets carried over into all aspects of my shop. Eco friendly cleaning products and post consumer or recycled packing materials are used whenever possible. You may even receive your vintage paper item in one of my handmade cereal box cardboard mailers; or the item might be cushioned in paper I shred myself. To go a step further, my business cards are constantly changing because I make them by hand with a company stamp and whatever unusual paper I happen to find next.
The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes. - Marcel Proust

Do you combine shipping on multiple purchases?
Yes. We love to combine shipping on multiple purchases. We will also refund any extra shipping charges over $1 that you paid during checkout.
I need my item fast, can I get it this week?
If you need your order fast then we suggest purchasing Express Mail at least 4 days before you actually need the order. Express Mail can take two days to arrive and we need time to pack the item and get it to the post office before the USPS deadline.
What if my package gets lost?
We add a tracking number to all US and most International orders. USPS has a global tracking system that gives the exact location where a package was left. If a package is lost, I will file a claim with USPS and have them track down the location of the package.
What if my item arrives broken?
We pack all fragile items really well to help prevent damage during shipping. If your item arrives damaged please contact me immediately so that I can start an insurance claim with USPS. Also, please keep the box, packing materials, and broken item for the claim. I will need a picture of the broken item to send to USPS, and they may require that you take the box, packing materials, and broken item to your local US post office for examination. Once I file a claim with USPS I will issue a refund.
