RedAvaDesigns is an eclectic line of jewelry, objects, and art designed and created in Chicago, Illinois, using a variety of metalsmithing and enameling techniques. My work includes natural stones, hand-forged enamel, vintage beads and components, sterling silver, copper, brass, and bronze. Many pieces are one of a kind.

In addition to made-to-order pieces, I update my shop with a small batch of ready-to-ship pieces every month. In the weeks leading up to the release, I preview the pieces on Instagram (@redavadesigns).

My goal is to create distinctive and affordable art that you can wear and use every day, and that creates a personal connection. I hope my work will inspire those who share my fascination with unique design, art history, and nature.

Most sterling silver pieces are crafted from recycled sterling silver. Please note that all silver ear wires are sterling, unless otherwise noted. Antique brass, copper, and gun metal ear wires are lead and nickel-free. A free gift box tied with ribbon is included with your order.

My Rivulets Bowl has been accepted in the 2019 Jewelry and Metalsmithing Survey (JaMS) publication. The Jewelry and Metals Survey is the Society of North American Goldsmith’s (SNAG) annual survey of jewelry and metals in contemporary art, architecture, craft, and design created in the previous year by emerging and established artists, selected by a jury of experts including curators, artists, designers, gallery owners, and historians. In showcasing approximately 200-juried objects, each publication highlights the wide range of current ideas and making practices in the field of jewelry and metals.
