Started this shop at the inspiration of a friend
Ich hatte eine Freundin, die Schmuck entwarf, und sie suchte nach einer einzigartigen Möglichkeit, ihre Gegenstände auf den lokalen Handwerksmessen zu präsentieren. Ich besitze ein Grundstück, auf dem Manzanita wild wächst und die meisten Einheimischen das Holz als Brandgefahr rund um ihr Grundstück betrachten. Die meisten Menschen säubern ihr Land von dem Zeug und verbrennen es entweder oder bringen es auf eine Mülldeponie. Ich habe einen Schmuckbaum aus einigen Manzanita-Zweigen für ihre bevorstehende Show gemacht und der Baum war ein Gesprächsthema. Sie drehte mich zu Etsy und ich machte ein paar Bäume und eröffnete meinen Laden. Das war vor vielen Jahren und die Reise war angenehm und ich bin immer noch aufgeregt, wenn ich verschiedene Arten von Displays und Geschenken für diesen besonderen Menschen mache.

I had a friend who designed jewelry and she was looking for a unique way to display her items at the local craft fairs. I own property where Manzanita grows wild and most locals look at the wood as a fire hazard around their property. Most people clear their land of the stuff and either burn it or take it to a landfill. I made a jewelry tree out of some Manzanita branches for her upcoming show and the tree was a topic of conversation. She turned me on to Etsy and I made a couple of trees and started my store. That was many years ago and the journey has been enjoyable and I still get excited when I'm making different types of displays and gifts for that special someone.
