About RedBrickMicro
Microgreen grower sharing the joy of growing with others!
I started growing microgreens in 2017 after being inspired by a YouTube video I had watched. I grew for my family for a while, and soon gained a few restaurant customers. A few turned into several, and pretty soon I was running a small business out of my basement.
As a surprise, I put together a growing kit for a friend who lives out of state and was really interested in microgreens. She loved it and started encouraging me to see if others might be interested in growing tiny plants too. And thus, my Etsy store was born.

Frequently asked questions
Should I grow inside or outside?
Inside is generally more predictable, and therefore an easier place to grow microgreens. All you need is somewhere relatively warm (60-80) and a sunny window. The more intense light they have, the thicker your stems will be, which is why grow lights are popular for people who grow a lot of microgreens. Outside works too, just be sure they don't dry out in the hot sun, get too cold at night, or have to endure strong winds.
