El amor de Jessica por los artículos tejidos comenzó cuando era niña, su curiosidad por la construcción de las cestas de raíz de cedro en su casita paterna de abuelas nunca se ha ido. Como una joven madre con 4 hermosos hijos, Jessica se enseñó a sí misma (a través de prueba y error) tejiendo canastas de corteza de cedro. Hoy, Jessica teje corteza de cedro, raíz de cedro, lana en el telar del piso salish, tapices y macramé, cosecha plantas tradicionales para tinte y medicinas, mezcla salvia mezcla peines de playa y está agradecida por esta increíble vida de creatividad que la curiosidad siempre le ha dado.

Jessica's love for woven items started as a young girl, her curiosity about the construction of the cedar root baskets in her paternal Grandmothers little house has never left. As a young mother with 4 beautiful children, Jessica taught her self (through trial and error ) cedar bark basket weaving. Today, Jessica weaves cedar bark, cedar root, wool on the Salish floor loom, wall hangings and macramé, harvests traditional plants for dye and medicines, mixes sage blends beachcomb's and is thankful for this amazing life of creativity that curiosity has always given her.
