Inspired Designs

We are a family operation, with both parents creating and our children observing and helping along the way. We are inquisitive by nature, and driven to explore the many ways we can make beautiful and functional items, from soap and textiles to wood, leather, and pottery.

Re-launching our Etsy shop to share our work in ceramics marks a new chapter for us. We have both been crafting for many years in various media, and most recently have been inspired to make pottery. Most of our pottery is wheel thrown, Andrew mixes our glazes, and we fire our pots in small batches in electric and gas kilns.

We love the natural beauty of clay and how it can be shaped into so many wonderful forms; each item with unique colors and textures brought forth. We enjoy beginning with simple and versatile materials to make exceptional and one of a kind pieces. We hope you find our creations as fun and inspiring as we do.

Learning new things has always been my greatest challenge in life. Ceramics, wood working, and tailoring are a few of those challenges. Its always wonderful to see what new pieces of work will come out of each project.

I love working in various media, including clay and textiles. I grew up in Wisconsin, in a house full of handmade pottery, textiles, wood work, and other beautiful crafts. I am inspired, always, by the natural world as well as other artists' works.
