Siempre me han gustado los libros. Fui un ávido lector cuando era niño y mi historia de amor con los libros continuó hasta la edad adulta. Comencé a hacer scrapbooking hace unos 10 años. Papercrafts se convirtió en una obsesión para mí. Luego encontré libros alterados, diarios de arte y diarios basura y todo tipo de nuevas posibilidades surgieron a través de algunas clases en línea que tomé, experimentando y simplemente divirtiéndome. Mi tienda de Etsy se ha convertido principalmente en estos libros que encuentro en ventas de patio, tiendas de segunda mano, etc. (otro pasatiempo disfrutado tanto por mí como por mi esposo). Tomo las portadas y creo nuevas páginas para el interior del libro. Muchas veces estas páginas están hechas de artículos reciclados como papel tapiz, partituras, páginas para libros infantiles, enciclopedias y similares, pero también infundo una buena cantidad de papeles de álbum de recortes y papeles hechos a mano. Luego agrego cosas a aproximadamente la mitad de las páginas de la mayoría de los libros (a veces más, a veces ninguna) y finalmente las encuaderno a mano y las enumero en Etsy.

Recientemente comencé a ofrecer imprimibles porque sé que a veces no tienes el tiempo o los recursos para salir y encontrar la divertida efímera vintage que hace un gran diario basura. Me encanta curar cosas que encuentro en divertidos kits imprimibles para que mis seguidores disfruten y usen en sus propios diarios.

I have always loved books. I was an avid reader as a child and my love affair with books continued into adulthood. I began scrapbooking about 10 years ago. Papercrafts became an obsession for me. Then I found altered books, art journaling and junk journals and all kinds of new possibilities emerged through some online classes I took, experimenting and just having fun. My Etsy shop has become mostly these books that I find at yard sales, thrift stores, etc. (another hobby enjoyed by both myself and my husband). I take the covers and create new pages for the inside of the book. Many times these pages are made from upcycled items such as wallpaper, sheet music, pages for children's books, encyclopedias and the like, but I also infuse a good amount of scrapbook papers and handmade papers. I then add things to about half the pages in most of the books (sometimes more - sometimes none) and finally I hand bind them and list them on Etsy.

I've recently started offering printables because I know sometimes you don't have the time or the resources to go out and find the fun vintage ephemera that makes a great junk journal. I love curating stuff I find into fun printable kits for my followers to enjoy and use in their own journals.
