I've always loved hitting things with a hammer....
I have worked in silver, for my own enjoyment, on and off since the first class I took on the subject in 1991. I love making forged (hammered) silver pieces and strive to make affordable, rugged, unisex, everyday jewelry. I do not make cast jewelry; everything is made one at a time. My shop is located in my garage and my basement and I enjoy using a variety of antique hammers (with various surface imperfections that leave interesting textures and patterns on the pieces) as well as a variety of anvils including pieces of railroad rail and railroad train wheel bearings as surfaces to hammer on. My trusty antique post vice assists with fold-forming. I enjoy making jewelry with integrated bails where the bail is part of the design; not an afterthought. Currently, every pendant I make comes with a bead chain because I like the un-fussy, unisex quality they have.
NOTE ON SHIPPING:
While I disabled overseas shipping in the choices for each individual item, I'm glad to ship overseas; just contact me through the Etsy messaging system so I can give you an overseas shipping cost which varies by location and can't be free/already included in the price like U.S. shipping. Thank you.
