Al principio, hice retratos de dibujos animados personalizados. Fue divertido, los hacía para amigos y familiares y los compartía en Facebook. Eventualmente, los amigos de los amigos comenzarían a enviarme mensajes, preguntándome si también podían obtener uno. Después de algún tiempo, y muchas molestias de mi novio, finalmente creé una tienda de etsy para ofrecerlos a las masas. Fue emocionante y aterrador.
Avance rápido hasta hace un año. Me encontré golpeada y planeando el último baby shower geek. Quería el tema de Super Mario, pero no pude encontrar un solo diseño de invitación que realmente me gustara. ¡Así que decidí hacer el mío propio! ¡Fueron un éxito! Novio (ahora prometido) volvió a regarme que yo ofreciera estos a las masas, pero lo ignoré. ¿Qué sabía de todos modos?
Avance rápido hasta hoy. Me encuentro con un niño ahora de casi 1 año. Necesitaba planear una fiesta de cumpleaños de Sharknado, naturalmente. Y de nuevo, ¡me decepcionó que las invitaciones para estos no existieran! ¡Sinvergüenza! Así que creé el mío propio de nuevo. Ahora no solo con el prometido, sino con todo un equipo de amigos y familiares molestándome. TENÍA que hacer algo al respecto... ¡Nació Redheaded Ink!

In the beginning, I made custom cartoon portraits. It was fun, I'd make them for friends and family and share them on Facebook. Eventually, friends of friends would start messaging me, asking if they could get one too. After some time, and a lot of nagging from boyfriend, I finally created an etsy shop to offer them to the masses. It was exciting and scary.
Fast forward to a year ago. I found myself knocked up and planning the ultimate geeky baby shower. I wanted Super Mario theme, but couldn't find a single invitation design I really liked. So I decided to make my own! They were a hit! Boyfriend (now Fiancé) nagged again that I should offer these to the masses, but I ignored him. What did he know anyway?
Fast forward to today. I find myself with a now almost 1 year old. I needed to plan a Sharknado birthday party, naturally. And again, was disappointed that invitations for these did not exist! Shocker! So I created my own again. Now with not only the Fiancé, but a whole team of friends and family nagging me. I HAD to do something about it...Redheaded Ink was born!
