All'inizio, ho fatto ritratti di cartoni animati personalizzati. Era divertente, li facevo per amici e parenti e li condividevo su Facebook. Alla fine, gli amici degli amici avrebbero iniziato a mandarmi messaggi, chiedendo se potevano ottenerne uno anche loro. Dopo un po 'di tempo, e un sacco di fastidio da parte del ragazzo, ho finalmente creato un negozio etsy per offrirli alle masse. È stato emozionante e spaventoso.
Avanti veloce a un anno fa. Mi sono ritrovato buttato giù e pianificando l'ultimo baby shower geek. Volevo il tema di Super Mario, ma non riuscivo a trovare un singolo design di invito che mi piacesse davvero. Così ho deciso di crearne uno mio! Sono stati un successo! Il fidanzato (ora fidanzato) ha tormentato di nuovo che avrei dovuto offrirli alle masse, ma l'ho ignorato. Che cosa sapeva comunque?
Avanti veloce fino ad oggi. Mi ritrovo con un bambino di quasi 1 anno. Avevo bisogno di pianificare una festa di compleanno di Sharknado, naturalmente. E ancora, è rimasto deluso dal fatto che gli inviti per questi non esistessero! Scandalistico! Così ho creato di nuovo il mio. Ora non solo con il fidanzato, ma un'intera squadra di amici e familiari che mi tormentano. DOVEVO fare qualcosa al riguardo... Redheaded Ink è nato!

In the beginning, I made custom cartoon portraits. It was fun, I'd make them for friends and family and share them on Facebook. Eventually, friends of friends would start messaging me, asking if they could get one too. After some time, and a lot of nagging from boyfriend, I finally created an etsy shop to offer them to the masses. It was exciting and scary.
Fast forward to a year ago. I found myself knocked up and planning the ultimate geeky baby shower. I wanted Super Mario theme, but couldn't find a single invitation design I really liked. So I decided to make my own! They were a hit! Boyfriend (now Fiancé) nagged again that I should offer these to the masses, but I ignored him. What did he know anyway?
Fast forward to today. I find myself with a now almost 1 year old. I needed to plan a Sharknado birthday party, naturally. And again, was disappointed that invitations for these did not exist! Shocker! So I created my own again. Now with not only the Fiancé, but a whole team of friends and family nagging me. I HAD to do something about it...Redheaded Ink was born!
