*Files are not delivered until payment has cleared.*
All digital items are delivered via the email address on file with your Etsy account (unless an alternate email is specified) with in 48hours after payment and customization details are received. (except during holidays as delivery time may be slightly longer).
Logo Design PROOFS are usually sent with in 24-48 hours after payment is received. The time frame for final logo design file delivery is dependent on approval from customer.
Refunds and Exchanges
Unfortunately, due to the custom and digital nature of these items, returns and refunds are not allowed. We do strive to make sure that every design is double checked for quality before delivery.
Additional Policies and FAQs
Discount Codes and Giveaway gift certificates/winnings can not be used on client specific listings or retirements. They may only be applied to the items already listed in the shop.
Please, be familiar how to use your specific software in relation to the files you are receiving. I am only familiar with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom and may not be able to offer any assistance with other editing programs.
Because it is illegal to distribute (Free or paid) fonts, they are not included with the .PSD files. Font names and links are included with the .PSD file, so that you can download/purchase the font(s) used. Some fonts are free fonts and some are paid fonts... all are commercially licensed. If any decorative elements in the TEMPLATES use paid fonts, the font will be rasterized, so the customer will not be prompted for a substitution. Any portions of TEMPLATES that are meant to be customized by the customer, will use free fonts. LOGO files that are created with paid fonts will not be rasterized.
Logos and card/album/business card templates are delivered at 300dpi to allow for clear quality printing. Please, make sure to check colors, fonts, bleed and safe zones for your specific lab before printing. Red Meadow Design Co. will not be held responsible for printing or sizing errors.
- FILE STORAGE:
Please, make a copy and back-up of your design. After delivery, final files are only stored for 2 weeks and then they are deleted. This also applies if you want to purchase additional files in the future (such as .PSDs, further custom edits, etc...) Please, make sure to do so within the 2 weeks after your initial purchase.
Red Meadow Design Co. will retain copyright to all completed designs. Certain individual design elements are commercially licensed graphics which are copyright protected by their creator. Copyright can not be transferred with out written agreement.

Q. Do you have a color chart to select colors for my logo design?
A. I recommend visiting www.colorpicker.com to choose specific colors. You can include the color code(s) with your customization details in the "notes to seller".
Q. I want to change the font? Can I?
What fonts can I choose from?
A. Yes, fonts may be changed. Some designs work best with the fonts in the sample, but can be changed on request.
I do not have a list of fonts to choose from, but if you see a font you like from another listing in MY shop, please send me the link and I will change it to that font.
I can not use just any fonts, as they must be commercially licensed. If you have a specific font that you would like used (that I do not currently offer)... you will need to provide the font file, a copy of the commercial license, and permission/temporary transfer of the license to me just for the designing process of your logo.
Q. How can you offer logo design at such an inexpensive price?
A. Well, I pre-design the logos which saves me time and allows me
to offer the designs I want at my own pace. The design process
is also sped up by the use of specific brushes, art, etc... that I
purchased (all of which are licensed for commercial use)
I also re-sell my logos (unless otherwise noted) which makes
it possible for me sell them at amazing prices.
Q. If the logos are pre-designed and resold, how will mine be unique?
A. Just because the design is pre-determined, the colors and
business specifications are not. I even work with my clients
if they want to change fonts or move things around for no
extra cost. These types of customizations make your logo
fit YOUR brand! It is the best of both worlds (custom and pre-made)!
Q. Are any of your sold as logos OOAK?
A. No...and yes. Let me explain...
ALL of my logo designs are listed as premade template logos and ARE intended to be RESOLD to multiple clients.
But... some of my logos have not been sold yet, SO....
If you purchase a logo that has never been sold and also purchase the "retire your logo" add-on, then your design will be completely unique to your business and will not be sold to another business. Please, convo me if you want to know if a particular logo has been sold before.
Note: Text only designs (no graphical element) may not be retired because many of the fonts are used in multiple designs.
Q. What is the price of retirement?
A. Retirement fees are based on popularity, design, etc... They vary according to design and retirement fees can change with out notice. Please, contact me for a current quote on the specific logo you are interested in.
Q. Do you do client requested custom work (non-predesigned)?
A. Not at this time. I currently am very busy running my own
photography business as well as enjoying being a work-at-home-mommy
to my little girl. Adding custom design to my work load
is just not a feasible option for me at this moment in time.
Q. I noticed most of your logos are focused on photography businesses.
Is that all you do?
A. Absolutely not! I tend to showcase photography because that is a
very popular request (and i am a photographer), but all of my
designs can be changed to feature ANY business.
Q. Why is the placement of the wording slightly different that the sample?
A. Some fonts have different swashes and design elements for each letter that can impact the design. So, some placement changes may have to be made to accommodate different business names.
Q. Can I change or remove a design element in a pre-made logo design?
A. Design elements may be removed at your request; however, major changes to design elements are generally not allowed. (Ex... changing a camera graphic to a sewing machine graphic)
Q. Will I receive a proof of my logo design?
A. Absolutely! I always email a proof of your design after purchase and receipt of customization details with in 24-48 hours. If additional changes need to be made to the color, font, or spelling I will be happy to do them for you. FINAL FILES are delivered after proof is approved.
Q. How long do I have to approve my logo?
A. You have up to 45 days to approve your design. If we do not receive a response from you with in 45 days (or you do not send us any customization information) the order will be considered abandoned. At that time, the order will be closed out with out any other design obligations. It will incur a fee to re-open your order.
Q. How many revisions can I make to my logo once I receive the proof?
A. Pre-made logos include 2 rounds of revisions. Additional revisions will incur a fee of $5 per revision.
Q. What if I don't like the proof of my logo? Can I get a refund?
A. Because the customization work has already been started, refunds are not allowed after proofs are sent. If you purchase a logo and decide you don't want it, you must email or etsy message me IMMEDIATELY to cancel your order. No cancellations will be allowed after the proof has been sent.
Customer service is VERY important to me, so if you are unhappy with the proof, please let me know and we can change the font/color, or exchange it for a design (of equal or lesser value) that you prefer.
Q. How are my final files delivered? and in what format?
A. .JPG and .PNG files come with the basic listing and the .PSD file will be included if that add-on is purchased. All final files are delivered in a zip file via a dropbox download link. You will need to be familiar with unzipping/opening zip files.
Q. What if I need an .EPS, .PDF, or vector file for my logo?
A. The pre-made logo designs are available in .JPG, .PNG, and .PSD files only. The vector files are not available for these designs, so… Please, make note of this before purchase.
Q. Do I need photoshop to use my logo?
A. No. .JPG and .PNG files are standard image files and will open in any editing program.
I have created a tutorial on my blog about how to apply your logo to your images using photoshop and lightroom. (if you need this link, please let me know and I will be happy to include it with your file delivery)
If you use another editing program, I won't be of much help as I am not familiar with any of the other available editing programs. .PNG files are standard graphics files and can be opened in any editing program.
To apply it to your images, your editing program should support transparency (most do, but some really basic programs like MSpaint do not). Your program should also allow you to work with layers (unless it has a watermarking application feature like lightroom), so that you should be able to copy and paste the .PNG file and resize the logo. OR you could resize the logo before hand and then paste on your image. The size you would resize your logo to would depend on the size of your image, so you may have to play around with it to see what size you prefer.
Q. What if I lose my logo or need it resent…or if I want to make changes to my final logo?
A. Please, make sure to back-up your files when you receive them. Due to the volume of customers, I only store the files for 2 weeks. After that they are deleted, so the logo would have to be re-purchased because it would have to be re-done from scratch. After your final files are resent (after the proof approval), requested changes will incur a fee.
