Announcement   At our farm store in rural Shiawassee County, Michigan, we offer organically grown (not certified) vegetables and fruits from our garden. We produce maple syrup from sugar maple trees located on our small farm on the Shiawassee River. Also at our farm store, you will find a few farm related crafts and antiques. Fresh, free range eggs are also available for sale. Lamb is a recent addition to our farm. Our flock of Icelandic sheep is grass fed the natural way, on pasture. Seasonally, we offer lamb for sale.

At Red Rooster Farm, we also offer handmade crocheted rugs with a Braided Look. High quality rugs made from 10-12 yards of older store stock fabric. Made from cotton blends, the rugs are very easy and economical to care for. There are many very nice quality fabrics used in these, Cranston Prints being one, and other good brand names. These hold up very well for rugs.

Having made these for 30 years, I can tell you that they have stood the test of time in durability. Put them into the wash machine on warm or cold water wash and air or machine dry. No need to worry about shrinking or bleeding of colors. The technique used to make them creates an interlocking of fabric strips, so no problems with these coming apart either.

They are very comfortable under foot so besides being pretty and decorative, they serve as a nice cushion for work areas such as in front of the kitchen sink. They also work well in heavy traffic areas such as entrances to outside where dirt is a problem. Just toss them in the wash machine and dry them for easy clean up. They blend well with any decor.
