Announcement
Paula Gill is an artist/tilemaker with a background in printmaking, watercolor painting and graphic design. Drawing on techniques and skills learned from these disciplines, Paula makes one of a kind tiles by hand using a slab roller and carving tools. Molds are not used. The 3/8" thick tiles have an aesthetic similar to that of woodblock prints: bold simple graphics with playful images inspired by gardens, birds and modern life.
As the terracotta tiles are low fired, they are recommended for decorative use. All tiles come 4 cork pads–for use as a trivit– and fitted with a stout wire loop on the back– for displaying indoors or hanging outside. If displaying outdoors, keep in a dry protected area during freezing conditions.
All designs are original, created by Paula Gill and are copyright protected.
