Our owner and head designer, Kathryn Therese, is a wife and mother to two energetic little boys who inspire her daily to create new designs and decor themes. Kathryn has a deep love of the outdoors and is very inspired by the beauty of the natural world. Her family loves to go hiking, boating, swimming, mountain climbing, and camping and you’ll see elements of these themes throughout all of her work.
Pine and Poem started in 2012 when she was on maternity leave with her first son. While formally trained in Creative Arts Therapy, Kathryn loves the flexibility of a work-from-home, full-time design job while raising her children.
