We find vintage relics so you don't have to!

A couple of years ago we started going to estate sales on the weekend as a hobby and decided to list some of our fun finds on Etsy for other people to enjoy. Some of the items we find people say they get them because it is for a sentimental purpose, other people are just looking for something fun to add to their décor. Whatever your reasons are for buying one of our items we hope you enjoy them and possibly pass them on for someone else to enjoy when you are done with them. Returns and exchanges
I don't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations

We strive to describe all items to the best of our knowledge. All of our items are sold AS IS and we will not refund any purchases unless we described the item incorrectly. We will not be held responsible for any damages that happen in shipping. All of our items are quoted without insurance, if you want insurance please let us know and we will add it to the listing for you. If insurance is added and the item arrives to you broken please let us know immediately so that we can start the insurance claim process. We will need proof that it is broken along with an Affidavit that we will provide to you to fill out. We will be happy to return your item price minus shipping costs once we receive all documents in order to process the claim. If you do not choose to add insurance and the item is damaged there is nothing USPS, FedEx or Red's Rusty Relics can do about it. If an item must be returned because we did not describe it correctly we will refund the original shipping costs as well as the item price, the buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs. Please review the pictures and description in detail.

In order to be considered for damage/refund or a return buyer will need to contact Reds Rusty Relics within 3 days of delivery.
We accept Paypal, Credit Cards, and Etsy Gift Cards. If you see something you like and you would like us to hold it for you please let us know, we will hold it until the end of the 3rd day (ex. you tell us Monday at 3pm we will reserve it for you until Thursday night). We also are willing to consider a payment plan. This is on a case by case basis and we will discuss terms at the time of contact.
Our items are shipped USPS Standard Post or Priority Mail (whichever one is closest to buyers shipping price they paid) or FedEx 4 Day. If you need it faster please let us know and we will recalculate the shipping costs to accommodate this.

If you would like insurance on your item please let us know and we will add it to the shipping cost. For large items that can't be sent via USPS or FedEx we will be happy to work with you to get you the information to get quotes from a carrier of your choosing. Buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for shipping from any carriers besides USPS and FedEx. Any other upgrades to shipping please let us know and we will adjust the shipping costs to reflect that. Shipping that is quoted is for the US Continental 48 States. Alaska, Hawaii, and international shipping please contact for shipping quote prior to purchase.

Reds Rusty Relics can not be held responsible for returned items because of a wrong address provided by the buyer. The buyer will be responsible for all shipping charges resulting from returned items and also the shipping charges to re ship to the correct address.

********PLEASE NOTE********
If the item can't be shipped via USPS or FedEx we will be happy work with you to get you the information for you to arrange shipping with a carrier of your choosing. SOME OF OUR LARGER ITEMS WE WILL REQUIRE THE BUYER TO ARRANGE AND PAY FOR SHIPPING TO THE CARRIER, WE WILL SPECIFY EITHER IN THE LISTING OR IN CONVERSATION. We can wrap and ship it with any carrier of your choosing for an addition charge as well (some carriers provide an extra service of wrapping the item, which may be an added cost depending on the carrier).

If arrangements for shipping are to be made by the buyer and the item is not shipped within 60 days from purchase, Reds Rusty Relics reserves the right to consider the item as abandoned. An abandoned item will not be refunded and we have the right to sell the item again at this point. If the buyer needs more than 60 days to arrange shipping they must contact us within the 60 days to convey that they are going to have it shipped by 90 days from the date of purchase, at 90 days out it will considered abandoned.

If there is damage from shipping from USPS or FedEx, Reds Rusty Relics will work with the buyer to file the claim with the shipping company if insurance was put on the item shipped. Buyer agrees to provide any pictures and information that the insurance company may need and hold on to the damaged item until the claim is resolved. Once Reds Rusty Relics receives all information from the buyer in order to close the claim we will return the purchase price of the item and in some cases we will return the shipping cost if the shipping company refunds that amount also. DO NOT RETURN THE ITEM UNLESS WE REQUEST IT

USPS Priority Mail and FedEx both provide $100 of insurance. In most cases with glass or breakable items we put insurance on the item for you and it is included in the shipping price already.

We will not return items based on that the buyer changed their mind or did not read the item description carefully or review the pictures in detail. Please ask for additional pictures or ask additional questions if you would like more detail than what is provided. If we describe the item incorrectly we will be happy to accept a return. We will return the original shipping cost and the item price. The buyer will be responsible for the return shipping cost.

If the item is being shipped to another country other than the USA the buyer agrees to pay any and all customs charges.
We will not adjust the cost of the item on the customs forms to avoid customs fees.

Reds Rusty Relics can not be held responsible to for delays in shipping speed once we drop it off at the carrier. We will have your item shipped in 3-5 business days, if not sooner if we are shipping the item. We can not be responsible for delays if the buyer is setting up the shipping, we will be willing to hold onto the item for a reasonable amount of time in order for the buyer to set up shipping and have their carrier pick the item up.
