5 out of 5 starsI purchased this for my husband for Christmas to place in his new woodshop, and I know he's going to be proud hanging it! We visited the Redwoods this past Summer, and he fell in love with them. This is a beautiful, sentimental buy! Love this piece! It's GORGEOUS!

5 out of 5 starsAdam was absolutely wonderful to work with on our custom order. He was responsive, friendly, and very open to creating the pieces we were looking for. The planks turned out beautifully and will make great gifts for our team. We look forward to working with him again on future projects! Thanks so much!!

5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely perfect! While we were in Big Sur, we searched for a Christmas ornament to remember our amazing trip there but we couldn’t find anything nice. This shop made the most beautiful ornament that arrived quickly and was just perfect.

My wife and son working in the shop!
A Family Tradition!
The first time I worked with redwood I was five years old and barely had the attention span to put wood spinners together. I was paid 25 cents per spinner. I would build just enough redwood spinners (Whirly Gigs) to purchase a small cap gun from the flea market next to our family run gift shop and wood working studio. As it would turn out, I would spend the rest of my life in one wood shop or another.
After many years as a professional wood turner, and natural woodworking artist, I developed a fairly rare condition called Fibromyalgia, which has since limited my ability to build custom art pieces. For this reason, I started our new business, Redwood Laser Engraving, and partnered up with redwoodburl.com to start a new gallery on the world famous Avenue of the Giants in Norther California’s pristine redwood forests.
I still teach and build in my over 3,000 sq foot shop, and produce quality items for our gallery. The process has changed a bit over the years, but our attention to quality has not.
My dad, who taught me so much about the art, still runs his wood shop, and I have since been able to include all my kids and wife in some aspect of my business. Though we keep it a very small, family business, Redwood Laser Engraving is equipped with an enormous amount of machinery, which allows us to produce a very diverse product line.
