Hi, Thanks for visiting by my store.

I have been making costume and millinery for the theatre and film industry for the last 12 years and specialize in the Regency and Victorian eras. Basing my gowns on pieces from museum collections, paintings and fashion plates of the era. I pride myself on creating beautiful authentic gowns and accessories suitable for Regency, Victorian, Jane Austen, Dickensian, Napoleonic, American Civil War re-enactment, themed weddings, and theatre, film and TV productions all at a reasonable price. I use historically appropriate fabrics and trims where ever possible and a large amount of the work is sewn by hand. To see a bolt of fabric transformed into a elegant gown or to create a beautiful bonnet really is a passion for me. You can be assured of the highest level of quality and workmanship. All my items are created in a smoke and pet free workroom in the UK.

Please feel free to contact me regarding bespoke gowns and accessories if you have a design you've always dreamed of or seen in a film or on TV or if require something for a particular event don't hesitate to contact me. I am always happy to help with fabric and trimming choices.

Payment
I only accept payment through PayPal or Credit or Debit card via Etsy Direct payments. Please note that payments made on Etsy using credit or debit card are not transferred from Etsy into my sellers account for 24 hrs and as such parcels will only be shipped once payments have cleared into my own account.

In rare cases Etsy may take up to 3 days to process a card payment before the order comes through to me and payment is received. I am not able to ship any item until payment reaches me.

In the case of express orders I recommend using PayPal as the payment is made instantly to my account and orders can be shipped out directly.

LAYAWAY

I am happy to offer layaway payments on orders over £50 this can include multiple purchases to the sum of £50. Please convo me with details of the item/s you would like to purchase and to discuss a suitable payment plan. Full payment MUST be received within 3 months of the item being reserved or you will be refunded any payments made and the item will be relisted for sale. If you are having problems with payment please keep me informed. Items purchased on layaway will dispatched when the final payment has been received. An admin charge of £5 will be added to the final payment to cover the cost the multiple listings required for this service. Any questions as always do get in touch.
Shipping
All items are posted out using First Class Royal Mail from the UK unless otherwise agreed. This is NOT a service with tracking. If you require tracking and insurance please let me know before purchase or select the relevant shipping upgrade on the listing.
Please be aware delays do happen. The seller is NOT responsible for delays, damage or lost parcels that may occur after shipping. Please be aware that at certain time of year such as Christmas shipping will be slower than usual due to the increase in post.

Only tracked/express services offer a confirmed delivery time. If you are planning on making a purchase for a specific event I would highly recommend upgrading to this service to ensure it reaches you in time and that you can track its progress door to door.

Express orders will be sent next day Recorded for UK orders and International tracked services will go via Royal Mail tracked or tracked and signed airmail. This is handled by Parcel Force whilst in the UK and past into the destination countries main/national postal provider for express delivery.

Tracked items can be checked on the Royal Mail website using the tracking number given. This is updated by Royal Mail in the UK and by the destination countries postal provided whilst in that country.

CUSTOM CHARGES AND IMPORT DUTY/TAX ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RECIPIENT.

As a retailer I am legally obliged to mark custom labels with an item description, contents value and mark it as goods/merchandise. I CANNOT legally as a business send the item marked as a gift when I have received payment/taxable income on the item. If you wish to personally received item and send it on as gift by all means do but I am legally bound to give a honest description of the contents. I know tax/duty is a huge frustration and inconvenience but I cannot break the law. Sorry.
Refunds and Exchanges
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. I DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES ON ANY ITEM IN STORE. Please be sure to check all measurements carefully prior to purchasing to avoid disappointment. I am happy to supply further measurements, details, photos etc. if you require them just convo me.
If there are any problems at all with your purchase please contact me PRIOR to leaving neutral or negative feedback so I can resolve the problem for you. I am human and mistakes can happen but I would be grateful if you would give me the opportunity to rectify any problems you may have.

In the event that a refund or exchange is agreed upon the items must be returned carefully packed and insured to the value of the item. The items must be returned clean, unworn and in as new rcondition suitable for resale before a refund will be issued. Damaged, dirty or worn goods will not be refunded. The seller is not responsible for damages that occur in transit. Refunds will be issued via the payment method used to purchase the item be that via PayPal or to the Credit/Debit card used. Please allow 1-3 days for processing.

COPYRIGHT
Unfortunately due to some of my original designs and images being used and reproduced by others without my permission I have had to implement Copyright on all my work. All designs currently listed and sold previously in this Etsy store are exclusive to Regency Regalia and are protected by International Copyright laws. All designs, item descriptions and images used on the listings may NOT be reproduced without prior consent from the store owner.

CUSTOM ITEMS
I am always happy to create custom gowns and accessories to your own designs or work with you to come up with the outfit of your dreams.
All custom items are made in your own choice of fabrics and trimming, supplied by the buyer unless otherwise noted in the listing description or arranged with the seller. A small consultation charge to cover the time spent confirming design details with you and sourcing materials may be charged. Items will be made to the exact measurements supplied by the buyer so be honest!! This is NOT the measurements you would buy in a shop. I highly recommend having someone take the measurements for you as it is near impossible take correct measurements yourself.
In some circumstances such as express orders I may be able to source materials for you locally or use fabrics I may have in stock to save time. Please note this will incur a small charge for my time, travel etc.
Please convo me with your ideas and I will work with you to confirm the design choice, fabric, trims etc. I will then create a custom reserved listing for you with all the finalized design details and appropriate shipping costs. This will appear in the custom orders section of my store and I will inform you as soon as the listing is available to purchase. You will then need to purchase the reserved listing and send your fabric and trims etc. to me. As soon as the parcel has arrived I will contact you to confirm its arrival (please let me know before hand if you are sending it recorded signed for so I can ensure I am in to sign for it). I will then begin creating your design for you.
The completion date of custom orders will depend on my current working schedule and the number of orders I have in at the time. Certain times of year get very busy. I will confirm a delivery date with you before the order is placed. I will keep you updated with the progress of your order and send photographs of the finished item before shipping to confirm you are happy with your purchase. The item will then be carefully packaged and shipped.
